The art exhibition “Bouquet of Peaks. Great Mountains of the World" opened in the Russian House in New Delhi. The exhibition includes a collection of “portraits” of all 14 eight-thousanders on the planet, created by the honored artist and traveler of Russia Sergei Dudko.
– With this project we want to introduce the residents of countries where the Himalayas rise to the work of Sergei Dudko. We also began filming the documentary film “Walking in the Clouds” about the creative heritage of outstanding Russian artists, travelers and explorers of the highest mountain system in the world, as well as about the modern project of the Russian Geographical Society “Russian Heritage of the Himalayas. Continuation of the journey,” said project manager Ivan Chaika.
Participants of the Russian Geographical Society expedition conducted a number of studies in Bhutan, Nepal, India, China and Pakistan, updated the contribution of Russian researchers of Central Asia, and collected ethnographic and geological material.
The “Walking in the Clouds” project is being implemented in India with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives, Rossotrudnichestvo and the founder of the investment holding Alias Group Boris Yunanov.

There has been a new addition to the library of the Russian House in New Delhi: the Russian Geographical Society (RGS) donated new books of regional studies to the cultural center. They are now available to everyone who has signed up for the library.
“География Гималаев. Geography of the Himalayas" (author Yuri Efremov, in Russian and English) systematizes information on the geography of the Karakoram-Himalayas, and also provides materials from expeditionary research.
Published in Krasnodar, “Picturesque Russia” in album format (authors Ivan Chaika and Evgeniya Kambarova) introduces the beauties of our country. The publication includes photographs of members of the RossiYa expedition, winners of the Crystal Compass award, members of the Russian Geographical Society and photo communities from various Russian regions.
Traveler, poet and writer Vladimir Nikulin in his book “Across Nepal and Tibet. Continuation of the Path" talks about the project "Russian Heritage of the Himalayas. Continuing the journey." The book contains materials about the trip to these mountains of the artist Vasiliy Vereshchagin and about the famous expedition of the artist, scientist and writer Nikolay Roerich.

Д.Е.Алипов охарактеризовал российско-индийское торгово-экономическое сотрудничество как планомерно развивающееся по самому широкому спектру направлений, рассказал о перспективных областях межрегионального взаимодействия, в первую очередь в угольной отрасли, а также культурной и образовательной сферах.
Главный министр также обозначила ряд областей промышленности, имеющих потенциал к взаимодействию с российскими партнёрами: угледобыча, металлургия, развитие водных путей, судостроение и развитие портовой инфраструктуры в районе Бенгальского залива и прибрежного региона Сундарбан. Сошлись во мнении о востребованности прямого авиасообщения между Москвой и Калькуттой.

On November 28, 2023, the Spouse of the Russian Ambassador to India Mrs Diana Alipova held a literary evening for representatives of the Women's International Club Delhi, the External Affairs Spouses Association as well as the wives of Russian diplomats in India.
Renowned Indian writer Achala Maulik, who had previously served as Education Secretary to the Government of India, Director General of the Archaeological Survey of India and Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of Karnataka, addressed the guests.
She spoke about her life and career path as well as her love for Russian literature and history. Mrs Maulik shared facts about the influence of Russian literature on the cultural and social life of India. During the event, guests also discussed her literary works.
