Amazon.com plans to spend at least $11 billion to expand its cloud and artificial-intelligence infrastructure in Georgia, as world tech companies boost their data-center footprints amid a boom in demand for AI computing.
Amazon Web Services, the U.S. tech giant’s cloud-computing arm, said Tuesday the investment aims to meet the increased demand for advanced cloud infrastructure and compute power, driven by generative AI.
