Now uk one another thing about me. Thanks El ๐Ÿ™†โ€โ™‚๏ธ. Wanted to reply directly to your channel kezama erasn magalet new bye tewkut ๐Ÿ˜‚
Okay so today is a bit into technology specifically Python and Date related. So my current project is related to memory optimization by changing processes. We're making from a single instance to multiple instance of the same process with parallel processing. Anyways the data we use somehow large but not too large. We use polaris instead of pandas as a library and it's good for lazy execution and query optimization. It's also good for a large amount of data unlike pandas. Also If the data size is greater than tens of GB It's better to use spark than Polaris.

Do your research for further If you're working with data ๐Ÿค—.

So went to the IT support today again ๐Ÿ˜ฉ. Not because I forgot my password though, itโ€™s because I forgot my phone which is used for 2-factor authentication ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚. Weโ€™re all set now.

One thing I learnt today was itโ€™s better to have a feature flag and then roll back as a backup for the feature flag. This helps you in creating a defensive code which will work if your new feature is working perfectly fine will route to the old one if it is not. Itโ€™s an if else implementation so all it needs is a Boolean value. Think of it.

Okay weโ€™re wrapping up the week. Letโ€™s go over this weekโ€™s progress.

โœ… Handed off my sprint task
โœ… Got myself a profiling task ๐Ÿ˜‚ weโ€™ll talk about profiling once I have a good idea of what it is and how itโ€™s done ๐Ÿ˜‚
โœ… Reserved a dinner spot for London A2SV alumni and supporters gala. Maybe as a supporter who knows
โœ… Played league game yesterday and we won ๐Ÿ™Œ
โŒ I didnโ€™t work from home this week ๐Ÿ˜ฉ
โŒ I declare bankruptcy now ๐Ÿ˜ญ.

Have a lovely Friday and letโ€™s go for the weekend ๐Ÿ˜Š.

Smtg for Monday devs ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ‘‡ ๐Ÿ‘‡ ๐Ÿ‘‡

๐Ÿ”ฅ Claude Code is now writing 100% of its own code and its creator let it happen

Claude Codeโ€™s lead developer has admitted that every single contribution over the past 30 days was written by Claude itself not as an experiment, but as normal workflow.

๐Ÿ”ธ The developer is Boris Cherny, widely regarded as the original creator and โ€œfounderโ€ of Claude Code, which began as his side project in 2024.

๐Ÿ”ธ In the last month alone, Claude Code:
โ€ข shipped 259 pull requests
โ€ข made 497 commits
โ€ข added ~40,000 lines of code
โ€ข deleted ~38,000 lines, with every line generated by Claude Code + Opus 4.5.

๐Ÿ”ธ The human role has shifted to orchestration: prompts, reviews, architecture decisions not typing code.

๐Ÿ”ธ Claude can now run continuously for minutes, hours, even days, using Stop hooks to manage long-lived development loops.

๐Ÿ”ธ This isnโ€™t toy automation or autocomplete, itโ€™s end-to-end software production at scale, driven by the system itself.

๐Ÿ”ธ What started as a side project has quietly become a proof point for a new programming paradigm.

Software development is crossing from human-written with AI assistance to AI-written with human supervision and this is likely the slowest this transition will ever be.

So one of my team mates is working from home today and guess the reason why? Nahhhh donโ€™t think too much Iโ€™ll tell you. Itโ€™s because theyโ€™re shooting avengers dooms day in his neighbourhood ๐Ÿ˜ฑ. How cool is that ๐Ÿฅน. Iโ€™m so jealous ๐Ÿ˜’.

So I said Iโ€™ll talk about memory profiling, what it is and why it is useful. So basically profiling means collecting stats on the usage of particular resource. In this case how much memory is the program using. You can use different libraries for that in python but Iโ€™m using memory_profiler. Basically what Iโ€™m doing is collecting the memory status of the current system and my other team mate will collect the memory state of our proposed implementation and trash talk about the current system in demo. Any question in the comment.

So this is midweek ig. Time flies so fast besmam. So this week my department has an innovation week. Which means we put our main tasks aside and compete in smtg like department hackathon. And this is included in the planning so it doesnโ€™t affect when you say no I donโ€™t have update I wasnโ€™t working on it.

Two benefits. For the department they find problems that youโ€™d not notice normally and engineers spend time solving them. For the employees this is their chance to experiment on different things theyโ€™ve in mind tech stacks, approaches, and other things that would elevate them as well as the department. You can add more or disagree but yhea Iโ€™m working on react this week ๐Ÿ˜. Two repos huge codebase and Iโ€™ve no idea what Iโ€™m doing in the codebase tbh ๐Ÿ˜‚. I might break smtg in the production wait for me here.

I used to write short blog posts on Notion whenever I ran into errors or learned something new. Now that Iโ€™m building my portfolio, Iโ€™ve added those posts there too.

To be honest, I donโ€™t even know if Iโ€™m writing โ€œproperโ€ blogs ๐Ÿ˜… theyโ€™re more like learning notes. But if youโ€™re interested, I can share the link and Iโ€™d really appreciate your feedback.

What do you think?
