One factor that unites almost all startups is uncertainty. As startups strive to find new and radical products, services and business models, they need to have enough courage to try new things. Renewal is not usually achieved through a controlled innovation process, but requires organic development and continuous action to create new opportunities and "systematic luck" (also known as serendipity)

As the holy month of Ramadan begins, our team is excited to continue our tradition of coming together for iftar, the breaking of the fast at sunset. This is a time for us to connect, share stories, and nourish our bodies and souls. We're grateful to have grown our team this year, and we're looking forward to welcoming new members to our iftar table. In Alif we believe that building a strong team culture is key to success, and we're blessed to have a team that believe in Alif values

Did you know that running can help keep your brain healthy and functioning at its best?
Research from Stanford (https://med.stanford.edu/news/all-news/2019/05/study-shows-running-increases-brain-connectivity-in-older-adults.html) suggests that running promotes the growth of new brain cells, reduces inflammation, and increases blood flow to the brain, leading to improved cognitive function and brain health.
So why not lace up your running shoes and give your brain a boost?

🌙 With the holy month of Ramadan coming to an end, it's important to remember the significance of giving Zakat, a form of charity that purifies our wealth and helps those in need.
☪️ As Muslims, one of our fundamental responsibilities is to pay Zakat, which is mentioned in the Quran 📖 and is one of the Five Pillars of Islam. Here are a few reasons why paying Zakat is so important:
1️⃣ It helps those in need: Zakat is a means of providing for the less fortunate members of society, including the poor, the sick, and the needy. By paying Zakat, we can help to alleviate their suffering and ensure that they have access to basic necessities 💚
2️⃣ It purifies our wealth: Zakat is a way to purify our wealth and earn the blessings of Allah. By giving a portion of our wealth to those in need, we can rid ourselves of greed and materialism and cultivate a spirit of generosity and compassion ☘️
3️⃣ It strengthens our faith: Paying Zakat is an act of worship that helps to strengthen our faith and deepen our connection with Allah. It reminds us of our responsibilities as Muslims and encourages us to live a life of piety and righteousness 💪
🤔 So, how do we calculate Zakat? The general rule is that Zakat is 2.5% of our wealth that has been in our possession for a year or more. This includes cash, gold, silver, and other assets.
💻 If you're unsure about how to calculate your Zakat, there are many online calculators available that can help, one of them: https://zakotim.uz or simple online spreadsheet that 2 years ago was shared by one of Alif founders, big thanks to him 🙏
☝️We remember that paying Zakat is an important part of our faith and a means of earning the blessings of Allah. As we celebrate Eid al-Fitr and the end of Ramadan, let's make sure we fulfill this obligation and contribute to the betterment of our community and society.

Salom aleykum,
Earthing 🌱🌍🍃
Just wanted to share what I’m learning and trying to practice. I have heard about earthing from a close friend based in US around 3 years ago, but didn’t practice and was not into it. As much as I am trying to learn more about my health, environment and sports in order to improve my productivity, as much I’m discovering new interesting discoveries.
Well, what is Earthing? 🚶
It's the practice of connecting your body to the earth's natural energy by walking barefoot outside or using Earthing products like mats or sheets.
This practice has been shown to have a number of health benefits, including reduced inflammation, improved sleep, and increased energy levels. So why not give it a try and see how it can improve your health and wellbeing?
I learned it from Harvard Health blog. And recently ordered an earthing mat, as will receive and give it a try, will share my observations with you, awesome people.

"A complex system that works is invariably found to have evolved from a simple system that worked. The inverse proposition also appears to be true: A complex system designed from scratch never works and cannot be made to work. You have to start over, beginning with a working simple system."
John Gall
We found out at work that we need to build a simple system one at a time to do a complex work, that does 1 job perfectly in the best way, then to build up other components 1 by 1 that do other jobs perfectly well

Assalom aleykum,
I listened 4 times within 2 years a book called
Along the journey, will keep you updated about progress and share with you insights that you might find interesting 🧐
So get the first fact:
“The physical heart, which houses the spiritual heart, beats about 100,000 times a day, pumping two gallons of blood per minute and over 100 gallons per hour. If one were to attempt to carry 100 gallons of water (whose density is lighter than blood) from one place to another, it would be an exhausting task. Yet the human heart does this every hour of every day for an entire lifetime without respite. The vascular system transporting life-giving blood is over 60,000 miles long – more than two times the circumference of the earth. So when we conceive of our blood being pumped throughout our bodies, know that this means that it travels through 60,000 miles of a closed vascular system that connects all the parts of the body – all the vital organs and living tissues – to this incredible heart.”

Recently, had the privilege of speaking in front of the banks of Uzbekistan in IT park office, sharing the vision of Alif and the power of embracing change. In a world that is rapidly evolving, it's crucial for us in Alif to challenge the traditional remittance systems and explore new possibilities in Uzbekistan as well.
We proposed to shift from traditional remittance systems to mobile remittances, leveraging the technological advancements available in our mobile app alif mobi. By embracing mobile remittances, we can transform the way we send and receive money, making it more convenient, efficient, and secure
Let's join forces, daring to innovate and shape a future where financial systems empower individuals and drive economic growth.

In Fintech as it might be in other areas, an incident - a small stopped working service, even in the midnight or any downtime of any services, is defined big fire in a big city or megapolis. Imagine that thousands of people can’t proceed their operations, can’t pay for electricity or transfer money to pharmacy to buy needed pills 💊
That’s why, should be set an incident response team armed and ready to go 🚒🧑🚒 — before an actual incident needs responding to.
Incident response is sort of like a fire drill for the IT team and the team is as firemen👨🚒 When the worst-case scenario becomes reality, it’s essential to have the right plan in place, the right people on the job, and the right tools.
Otherwise the whole city can be dead❤️🔥 So don’t kill people, build incident response team and minimise the fire 🔥

1 million dollar mistake. Lesson learned:
— Always have a backup pillar in any system;
— «If there is an opportunity, make minimum 3 pillars under any system, 1 main and 2 backups» - Z.R.
Most of payments apps including Payme, Click, Uzum, Paynet don’t work due to HUMO main channel is down, alif mobi works due to have a second channel
— Keep calm and move forward by building sustainable system to serve our beloved clients the best way 💚

In today’s situation, it is essential to understand history and politics, if you see the traction, you can understand the purpose of current war.
In the early 20th century, the Zionist movement, led by figures like Theodor Herzl, aimed to establish a Jewish homeland in Palestine, which was then part of the Ottoman Empire. The Balfour Declaration of 1917, issued by the British government during World War I, expressed support for the establishment of a "national home for the Jewish people" in Palestine.
After World War I, the League of Nations granted Britain the mandate to govern Palestine, and Jewish immigration to the region increased. This led to tensions between Jewish immigrants and the Arab Palestinian population. In the 1930s and 1940s, this tension escalated into conflict, with both Jewish and Palestinian communities suffering violence and hardship.
