Call confirmation

The beta version of Telegram Desktop now features a call confirmation window that appears when you press the call button.

This added feature is designed to prevent accidental calls and gives you the option to select between voice or video call modes before placing the call.

Time when message was viewed

Beta versions of Telegram for Android and iOS now display the last time a message was viewed by members of group chats (up to 100 people).

Function Features:

• Th
e application does not display the time of the first viewing of the message by the user, but the last one.
• A particular user's watch time is not updated every time they watch, but only if someone sends a new message to the group while browsing.

Message views are stored for 7 days.

Power Saving

In the beta version of Telegram for iOS, in the new section “Power Saving”, you can set the battery charge threshold, below which some animations will be automatically disabled for less power consumption.

If the slider is moved to 0%, then the power saving mode will always be disabled. In this case, the animations will remain active.
