Is a college essay more important than sat's!!? ok i got a 1170 on my sat (730 on math and verbal) but i wrote an excellent essay to this college calld ECU (east carolina) and they require a 920 on the sat for math and verbal, but once again my essay was off the chart!! i had a few professors read it, a few doctors, my aunt who is a lawyer and a couple of friends!!!! my doctor even cried when she read it!!!!!!
