IBMda bir oy. Yohud Krakowda hayot qanday kechyabdi?)

Ofis Krakowda bo'lganligi sabab, Warsawadan ketishga to'gri keldi. Sababini bilmadim, lekin ko'p IT kompaniyalarning ofisi ham aynan manashu shaharda joylashgan ekan. Balki shahar havo tozaligi va yashillik bo'yicha dunyoda yuqori o'rinda turishidir. Lekin baribir Warsawadek, bu yerda o'zbek oshxonalar yo'q🥲

IBMning Planning Analytics (PA) productiga qo'shildim. Tushunish uchun katta hajmdagi malumotlar va ularni analitik taxlili bilan ishlashga mo'ljallangan Excel deb olsak bo'ladi.

Bizning jamoa productning "Forcasting" yani o'tgan malumotlar asosida kelajakdagi malumotlarni "pragnoz qilish" va AI qismi bilan shug'ullanadi. Hozirda productni L'oreal, Mitsubishi, IKEA, Boeing, Uber, Disney, Walmart kabi kompaniyalar ishlatadi.

Aytgancha hozir o'zbeklardan 2 tamiz. Sherigim, Watson Orders productida ishlaydi. Loyiha, mashinadan turib, ovoz yordamida buyurtma berish imkoniyatini taqdim qiladi. MacDonalds'ning (drive-thru) chatbotlari shu AI yordamida ishlaydi.

Hozircha shunaqa gaplar, bizning ofis rasmdagi "Galileo" binosida joylashgan)

Talaba sifatida chet elda pul topishning oson yo'li: Interpreter bo'ling!

Chet elda o'qiyotgan talabalar uchun qo'shimcha daromad topish muammosi hamma uchun dolzarb. Ko'pchilik taksi haydovchisi yoki ofitsiant bo'lib ishlashga majbur bo'lishadi. Lekin, agar siz ingliz tilini va yana bir tilni (masalan, o'zbek tilini) yaxshi bilsangiz, ayniqsa Polshada interpreter sifatida onlayn ishlab, ancha yaxshi pul topishingiz mumkin!

Bu gaplarni shunchaki aytayotganim yo'q. Biz sherigim @theroscoe1912 bilan Intercall loyihasi ustida ishlayapmiz. Bu sayt interpreterlarga suhbatlarni transkript qilishda va tarjima qilishda yordam beradigan dastur. Interpreterlarning ishini yaxshiroq o'rganish uchun sherigim interpreter bo'lib ishlab ko'rdi va qisqa vaqt ichida yaxshigina daromad topdi!

Tajriba davomida nimalarni bildik?
- Interpreter bo'lib ishlash haqiqatan ham yaxshi daromad keltirishi mumkin.
- Ish vaqti moslashuvchan, ya'ni o'qishdan bo'sh vaqtingizda ishlashingiz mumkin.
- Ko'pgina interpretation kompaniyalari AQShda joylashgan, shuning uchun shanba va yakshanba kunlari ham ishlashingiz mumkin (bu kunlari soatiga to'lov ikki barobar!).

Polshada interpreterlar uchun eng kam ish haqi soatiga 40-45 zlotidan (10-11$) boshlanadi. O'rtacha 6 soat ishlasangiz, bir oyda taxminan 2000 dollar atrofida pul topishingiz mumkin!

Eng asosiysi, bu ish orqali siz nafaqat pul topasiz, balki til bilish qobiliyatingizni rivojlantirasiz, tajriba orttirasiz va kelajakda professional tarjimon bo'lish imkoniyatiga ega bo'lasiz.

Savollaringiz bo'lsa, izohlarda yozib qoldirishingiz mumkin.

P.S. Postni chet elda o'qiydigan do'stlaringiz bilan ulashishni unutmang.

Ishga kirish haqida qisqacha:

CV yuborish: Odatda kompaniyalarning veb-saytlari orqali online ariza to'ldirasiz.

Intervyu: Ko'pincha telefon yoki videoqo'ng'iroq orqali suhbatdan o'tasiz.

Til bilish testi: Ingliz va o'zbek tillari bo'yicha tarjima qobiliyatingizni tekshirish uchun test topshirasiz (masalan, berilgan matnni og'zaki tarjima qilish).

Mashhur va to'liq legal ish beruvchi interpretation kompaniyalari:

Prepio, LanguageLine Solutions, TransPerfect

O'zbekistondan turib ham ishlash imkoniyati mavjud!

A Day at the Range in Poland: My First Glock Experience

On the first day I went there, but unfortunately, there was no available lane. I had to make an appointment beforehand. No problem though—the next day I booked and went back. I watched a 10-minute instructional video in English, but I was pretty sure I was already prepared.

The first firearm I used was the Glock. The instructor handed me the magazine, which was loaded with 10 bullets, and I loaded it into the gun myself as he explained how to aim properly. Feeling ready, I gripped the gun firmly, took a deep breath, and calmly aligned my sights on the front sight of the gun. Then, I gently squeezed the trigger.

The first shot went off—I felt the gun recoil upward. For a split second, it seemed like I’d shot the ceiling, and I couldn’t quite remember pulling the trigger. It was almost like I had closed my eyes.

"10!" the instructor called out. I had hit the 10! I was feeling the adrenaline, if that’s what it was. My heart was racing, and I wasn’t sure if my vision was blurred or if it was just my glasses. My hands were shaking, but I fired two more shots before passing the gun back to the instructor. One of the rules is that you should never put a loaded gun on the table.

After I handed the gun to the instructor, I took off my glasses and took a deep breath. I felt the tension release from my body for a moment, and I tried to calm my racing heart. I grabbed my phone and tried to record myself. The instructor was so helpful and nice, and we set up my phone on the edge of the partition between shooting lanes.

The rest of the shots came more easily, and the experience was simply amazing.

Gun club rule no. 1: treat every single gun as if it’s loaded.

A Day at the Range in Poland: My First Glock Experience (Part 1)

I don't know how I got interested in shooting or guns but maybe after watching this video, I started watching more about guns. Somehow I developed habit to see videos about assembling, aiming, how it works type of videos. One day, I was talking with my friend about multi-sport, app that gives access a lot of sport activities. So I saw there was a section called "Shooting Range". I got hooked. Since then I was thinking to go there.

Want to Learn How To Code? Build Stuff. Now.

Forget endless tutorials. Want to actually learn to code? Build something you care about.

Here's the no-BS way:

1. Pick a Project: A website, an app, whatever. Having a goal focuses your learning. Example: "I want to build a to-do list app."

2. Learn Just Enough: Figure out the bare minimum you need for your project. Google it. Use AI like Claude or Cursor to help you write code. You don't need to be an expert on everything, just the thing you need to complete the task. Example: Need a button? Learn how to make a button in React.

3. Build, Break, Fix, Repeat: You'll mess up. That's how you learn. Fix it, and keep building.

4. Use the Right Tools: If you want to build for web and mobile, learn Javascript, React, Next.js (for web), and React Native (for mobile). They're popular for a reason.

Skip the Fluff: Don't get lost in details you don't need yet. Focus on getting your project working.

Think of it like fixing a car: You don't need to be a master mechanic. You just need to know how to fix your specific problem.

Most importantly: Stop planning and start doing. You'll learn more from building one real project than from a dozen tutorials.

Go build something. Thank me later 😎

Pro Tip: Build an AI wrapper. Leverage OpenAI's APIs to create something unique. Put it on the App Store. Launch it on Product Hunt. You might even make some money.

It took me 1 year, 6 months, and 7 days to get my driver’s license after finishing my studies.

1 year and 6 months of procrastination, hesitation, and excuses—until I finally realized I had to take it seriously.
6 days of intense focus, learning the rules, and preparing for the exam.
1 day to pass.

“You may delay, but time will not.” — Benjamin Franklin

Stop procrastinating. Start doing.
