الرئيس بشار الأسد يزور طهران ويقدم التعازي لقائد الثورة الإسلامية في إيران السيد علي الخامنئي باستشهاد الرئيس إبراهيم رئيسي ووزير الخارجية حسين أمير عبد اللهيان. ويؤكد أن الرئيس رئيسي كان يحمل في عقله ووجدانه مصلحة الشعب الإيراني الصديق ويحمل أيضاً في قلبه مكانة رفيعة لسورية وشعبها، مستمراً في النهج الثابت الذي يجمع البلدين والشعبين الصديقين.
وقال الرئيس الأسد خلال لقائه السيد الخامنئي: إن وزير الخارجية حسين أمير عبد اللهيان قاد دبلوماسية نشطة بين إيران وسورية وله بصمة في إرساء الاستقرار في المنطقة.
