President Bashar al-#Assad arrives in #Moscow this evening on an official visit to the Russian Federation, during which he will hold talks with Russian President Vladimir #Putin.
The official reception ceremony for President al-Assad took place at Vnukova International Airport in Moscow, according to the Russian protocol for receiving presidents. His Excellency was received by Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, as a special representative of President Putin, the Russian ambassador to Damascus Alexander Yefimov, and the Syrian ambassador to Moscow Dr. Bashar al-Jaafari.
His Excellency is accompanied by a large ministerial delegation.
