The development of the Chernobyl territories was reported to the President on the eve of the next anniversary of the largest technogenic disaster. Not to lose these lands, to ensure their development was a national task, the most important national project. Aleksandr Lukashenko has always personally supervised the revival of contaminated lands, support and recovery of people. A quarter of the Belarusian territories turned out to be in the zone of radiation contamination. And in 39 years since the accident, Belarus has managed to bring life and people back to many affected regions. Over the years of independence, six state programmes to overcome the consequences of the disaster have been adopted.

Беларусь обеспечит строгий контроль за трудовой миграцией

Президент Беларуси Александр Лукашенко высказался на тему привлечения в Беларусь трудовых мигрантов, в том числе из Пакистана. Таким образом Глава государства откликнулся на одну из тем, которая обсуждается на просторах интернета после его переговоров с премьер-министром Пакистана во время его недавнего визита в Беларусь. Президент отметил, что на этой теме сегодня пытаются спекулировать, выставляя приезжих, как угрозу безопасности и общественного порядка. Между тем, все нюансы привлечения граждан Пакистана для работы в Беларуси будут закреплены в межправительственном соглашении. На сегодняшний день в стране работает 85 тыс. специалистов из других государств. Из них около двух десятков — граждане Пакистана.

В Мстиславле занимаются подготовкой кадров для белорусско-российского швейного производства

В одном из мстиславских учебных заведений функционирует специализированный класс. Его выпускники помимо аттестата о среднем образовании получают квалификацию швеи. Ученицы проходят обучение на профессиональном оборудовании, которое было предоставлены Починковской швейной фабрикой. Российский город Починок Смоленской области граничит с белорусским Мстиславлем. Эти регионы давно поддерживают дружеские отношения и реализуют совместные экономические проекты. Одним из успешных результатов такого сотрудничества стало создание совместного белорусско-российского предприятия. Существует потребность в квалифицированных швеях, поэтому подготовка кадров осуществляется совместно.

Belarus will provide strict control over labour migration

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has spoken out on the issue of attracting labour migrants, including those from Pakistan, to Belarus. In this way, the head of state responded to one of the topics discussed on the Internet after his talks with the Prime Minister of Pakistan during his recent visit to Belarus. The President noted that people are trying to speculate on this theme today, presenting migrants as a threat to security and public order. Meanwhile, all the nuances of attracting Pakistani citizens to work in Belarus will be fixed in an intergovernmental agreement. At present, 85.000 specialists from other countries work in the country. About 20 of them are citizens of Pakistan.

В столичной галерее «Университет культуры» открылась выставка «Образы Великой Победы в белорусском кино». Это совместный проект Белорусского союза кинематографистов, архива кинофотофондодокументов, исторического музея и Центра исследований белорусской культуры, языка и литературы Национальной академии наук. Экспозиция – подборка уникальных фото и эскизов, по которым строился образный ряд знаменитых военных лент: «Иди и смотри», «Все мы родом из детства», «В августе 44-го». На снимках также легендарные создатели военного кино: Виктор Туров, Михаил Пташук, Игорь Добролюбов, операторы, художники, сценаристы и звукорежиссёры.

More than 5 million doses of vaccines were injected in Belarusian healthcare organisations in 2024

This was announced by the Minister of Health of Belarus during the scientific-practical conference with international participation "Vaccination: a modern view on the problem". Aliaksandr Khajayeu emphasised that vaccines protect each person individually and allow protecting the collective health of people. Thus, preventive vaccination coverage of children and adults in Belarus has reached the optimal level: for children — not less than 97%, for adults — not less than 95%. Since this year, the population has been vaccinated against 13 infectious diseases within the framework of the National Calendar of Preventive Vaccinations, and against 21 infections within the framework of the list of vaccinations on epidemiological indications.

Training of personnel for Belarusian-Russian garment production is being organised in Mstislavl

A specialised class is functioning in one of Mstislavl's educational institutions. In addition to a secondary education certificate, its graduates receive a qualification as seamstresses. The students are trained on professional equipment provided by the Pochinkovskaya sewing factory. The Russian town of Pochinok, Smolensk region, borders on the Belarusian town of Mstislavl. These regions have long maintained friendly relations and realise joint economic projects. One of the successful results of such cooperation was the establishment of a joint Belarusian-Russian company. There is a need for qualified seamstresses, so training is carried out jointly.

Rare archive documents and photographs are presented at the exhibition on the 80th Anniversary of the Victory Day

The exhibition "Images of the Great Victory in Belarusian Cinema" was opened in the University of Culture gallery in Minsk. This is a joint project of the Belarusian Union of Cinematographers, the Archive of Film and Photo Documents, the Historical Museum and the Centre for Research of Belarusian Culture, Language and Literature of the National Academy of Sciences. The exposition is a selection of unique photos and sketches, which were used to create the imagery of the famous war films: "Come and See", "We All Come from Childhood", "In August of the 44th". The photos also show legendary creators of war cinema: Viktor Turov, Mikhail Ptashuk, Igor Dobrolyubov, cameramen, artists, scriptwriters and sound directors.
