The logo was designed by Abel ( @belagraph ) and I think he did such a great job bringing what I had in mind into a simple design.

I had a very simple idea that feel reflective of what the podcast is really about. The final design feels clean, simple, and intentional in a way that fits the podcast so well. I really loved it

Seeing the logo for the first time was when everything felt so real to me. Like… “ this thing actually exists now.”

Couldn’t sleep last night because of a typeface idea.

So I spent today building this experimental Ethiopic display typeface using simple geometric shapes.

Still rough. Still needs work. But not bad for a single day. sketches below👇
