She grew up in Ethiopia with a creative spirit, influenced by her parentsโ hair salon and wedding dress rental business. From making doll clothes to taking a short fashion course at 18, she nurtured her passion for design. Even while studying in college, she kept sewing for herself and her sisters, supported by her family.
After graduation, she began making clothes for income alongside her full-time job. Four months ago, she left that job to focus fully on fashion, taking online orders through Instagram and TikTok. Inspired by her family, she aims to launch an international fashion brand called Diamond Patterns, named after her mother, Almaz.
