google got this extension in editors. just like cline but with more features. pros: 240 requests per day and 180k code completions per month. it's available in most IDEs. it kinda looks nice, do check it out

https://open-vsx.org/extension/Google/geminicodeassist

they also got gemini CLI companion extension so that you can connect gemini CLI with your preferred editor and see the diff inside the editor. use the /ide command in the CLI to connect it with your editor

I just started a NestJS project, and I’m loving how it makes backend development clean and efficient. NestJS’s modular architecture and dependency injection make code scalable, maintainable, and easy to test. I’m using Prisma with PostgreSQL for a modern, type-safe database layer that integrates seamlessly with NestJS. With its Angular-inspired design and smooth support for tools like GraphQL and WebSockets, NestJS is a game-changer for building robust, scalable server-side apps!

JavaScript - The All-Rounder of Modern Development

This image perfectly represents how JavaScript has become one of the most versatile languages in the tech world.

From a simple scripting language for web pages, it has grown into a full-stack powerhouse:

- Front-End: React, Angular, Vue
- Back-End: Node.js, Express
- Mobile Apps: React Native, Ionic
- Desktop Apps: Electron.js
- Machine Learning: TensorFlow.js

JavaScript continues to evolve, empowering developers to build anything from interactive websites to AI-driven solutions - all within one ecosystem.

Truly, one language that pours into every cup of technology!

This image reminded me of something important for anyone starting their journey in tech:

We’re all “newborns” at the beginning.

We import what we learn from others, inherit a little wisdom, and slowly build our own functions through practice, mistakes, and curiosity.

The key is to 𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 — the late-night debugging, the “why won’t this run?!” moments, the breakthroughs, and even the failures. All of it is part of your growth loop.

To all entry-level developers out there:
👉 Keep learning
👉 Keep experimenting
👉 Keep showing up
👉 And don’t rush the journey

Even the best engineers were once beginners writing their very first line of code.
Your 𝒃𝒆_𝒂𝒘𝒆𝒔𝒐𝒎𝒆() function is already defined — you just need to keep calling it.

Hey fam! 👋
Me and my friend just launched something we’ve been cooking for a while — BrokerHub! 🎉

It’s a clean and modern platform where people can easily find brokers, and brokers can connect with clients without all the stress.

We built it using Next.js & Go, so it’s fast, smooth, and built with modern tech. We’re still finalizing some integrations between the frontend and backend — but the core UI is ready and we’re excited to share it with you!

Your feedback means a lot to us. ❤️
Check it out and let us know what you think!

What don't people tell you about learning to code?
It’s not difficult; it’s just new.
Nobody hires you to code; you’re there to find solutions to their problems (that never stop coming).
Discipline around your learning will fix 90% of your problems.
You’ll move from one type of Error to another, and that’s progress.
No one memorises syntax. After years of coding, you stop caring about the language and just develop preferences—like picking favourite foods.
Coding isn’t math. Quick Test: 0! =1
Learning never stops—you’ve got to embrace it.

Time is the only currency we have, but we never know the balance. Spend it wisely.

Our habits lead us to somewhere with there combined effort in enough timeline good or bad but if the net output of our habit is negative we will be in bad place.

I’ve been quiet lately because I’ve been deep in 'monk mode' developing something significant for our company. Coding high-impact features often requires 100% focus, but I’m back now! I can’t wait to share some of the technical challenges I solved once we launch

Security researcher discovers five critical vulnerabilities in Google's new Antigravity IDE, including remote code execution via indirect prompt injection, data exfiltration through multiple vectors, and hidden instruction execution using invisible Unicode characters. These issues were previously reported in Windsurf (which Antigravity is based on) but remain unpatched. The vulnerabilities exploit the IDE's auto-execute features, lack of human-in-the-loop controls for MCP tool invocations, and over-reliance on LLM output for security decisions. Practical mitigations include disabling auto-execute, carefully managing MCP server permissions, and considering alternative IDEs until fixes are deployed.
