all quiet on the western front, it's a good movie portraying world war one and telling how war is truly hell, it's a movie that tells about war propaganda and how different it is from reality. the ending is very realistic and hurtful. my favorite lines from the movie is when kat says "it's so quiet, it's like my ears have gone deaf" and i loved the scenes where kat and paul helped each other. one of the hardest scenes to watch was when paul had to kill to survive, only later realizing he had killed someone kind and someone with a family. i cried at that part.
