🔥A BAND 9.0 ESSAY🔥

As we approach a world of shifting educational standards and school curriculums, the question of whether schools should prioritize teaching digital skills or continue emphasizing fundamental subjects like mathematics and literature has become more relevant. While there are clear benefits to focusing on traditional disciplines, I believe that it is more important to equip schoolchildren with technological literacy to prepare them for the modern world.

On the one hand, traditional subjects should always be taken seriously. As long as students keep studying academic subjects like math and history, they develop cognitive skills like critical-thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving, thereby broadening their horizons and gaining new perspectives. As a result, they can not only make prudent choices and overcome obstacles in their personal lives, but also generate innovative ideas and address key issues in their professional lives, which in turn accelerates their career growth and enhances their overall quality of life. At a time when many people struggle to pay attention to details, identify patterns, analyze situations, and think outside the box due to factors like poor literacy and information overload, preserving conventional subjects plays a crucial role in restoring cognitive performance.

In my view, however, technology-based education should take precedence in the contemporary world. As technology evolves rapidly and high-speed internet gains widespread popularity, digital devices like mobile phones and computers have seamlessly integrated into various parts of our lives, revolutionizing the way we work, learn, and communicate. Given these circumstances, it is reasonable for educational institutions to focus on teaching younger generations digital skills like typing, programming, and data analysis. Gone are the days when school curricula used to be limited by academic disciplines, as today's technologically integrated workplaces and lifestyles require students to acquire a high level of technological proficiency.

In conclusion, although traditional subjects serve an essential purpose in improving cognitive abilities, I believe that technology-oriented lessons should take priority to ensure that young people survive and thrive in today's rapidly-evolving world.

What are the benefits of arts?

📝From an optimistic perspective, the arts can serve as a powerful catalyst for fostering personal relaxation and enjoyment. Once people start pursuing creative activities such as painting or playing music, they tend to calm their nerves, recharge their batteries, and restore their spirits, thereby relieving feelings of stress and anxiety. As a result, they experience a sense of comfort and satisfaction, which ultimately promotes greater psychological stability and overall emotional well-being. At a time when many individuals feel overwhelmed by modern pressures like rising living costs and demanding workloads, artistic pastimes have the potential to serve as a vital source of calmness and rejuvenation.

Ripple-effect approach.

Why do people no longer engage in the arts?

📝The decline in artistic engagement can be attributed to a wide range of recent factors. As international job markets become fiercely competitive and career demands continue to intensify, many people are compelled to handle heavy workloads, tight deadlines, and long work hours, leaving them with little time and energy for creative expression and relaxation. Given these demanding responsibilities, it comes as no surprise that individuals often choose to avoid artistic activities like painting and playing music, devoting more attention to career-oriented pursuits like vocational training and networking to hone their skills and secure their positions. Gone are the days when the arts served as an essential form of self-care and rejuvenation, as today's hectic lifestyles have pushed them out of our routines.

📝The absence of artistic engagement is influenced by a variety of recent changes. As technology continues to advance at a rapid pace and high-speed internet gains widespread popularity, many people have grown increasingly reliant on electronic gadgets like mobile phones and gaming consoles for leisure and recreation, spending long hours scrolling through social media feeds, binge-watching streaming services, and playing casual video games. Given the overwhelming dominance of these online activities, it comes as no surprise that current generations often neglect artistic pursuits like painting and playing music, devoting more time to digital experiences that offer instant gratification and convenience. Gone are the days when art used to be a central source of relaxation and rejuvenation, as today's technological advancements and digital devices have largely displaced it from our daily routines.

RIPPLE-EFFECT APPROACH

Why are people getting more interested in physical activities like walking and cycling?

📝 The rise of physical activities can be attributed to a wide range of recent factors. As public health deteriorates and chronic diseases continue to proliferate, many governments have launched comprehensive public awareness initiatives like social media campaigns, community outreach projects, and educational programs in order to counteract modern sedentary lifestyles and champion healthy living practices. Given these coordinated efforts, it comes as no surprise that many people now incorporate outdoor activities like jogging and swimming into their daily routines, which in turn promotes better fitness and longevity. Gone are the days when physical pursuits were neglected, as today's effective awareness strategies have pushed individuals to stay physically active and mobile.

Why do people now wear western clothes like suits and jeans rather than traditional clothing?

📝 The replacement of traditional garments with Western attire can be attributed to a wide range of recent factors. As globalization accelerates and Western countries like the US and the UK continue to dominate the global economy, Western brands and products have been widely associated with modernization, sophistication, and social prestige. Given these circumstances, it comes as no surprise that many people prefer wearing Western clothes like suits and jeans rather than traditional outfits, thereby signaling progressiveness and higher social status. A case in point can be seen in Central Asian countries like Uzbekistan, where individuals of all ages have largely abandoned conventional garments like the chopon or atlas in favor of contemporary Western fashion.

Forwarded from COURSE PREP
Yesterday, one of my close relatives came to our house and asked for advice.

He took a leaf out of my book and took up IELTS at the beginning of this year. As was the case with me when I was younger, his both parents are working in Russia to build their own house, and yes they don't have a home yet. His parents have been counting on him for a long time, pushing him to excel in school and take things seriously. He is now a tenth-grade school student, and although he did not disappoint his parents and studied well at school, he started learning English and preparing for IELTS a little bit late. Anyways, he has to pull off 7.5+ in IELTS and 1450+ in SAT until he graduates high school, but he only has 1 or 2 years left. If he doesn't get a high score in IELTS and SAT to earn a study abroad scholarship and find a good job, he has no chance when it comes to retiring his parents and breaking the chains of poverty.

As young as he is, he has the weight of the world on his shoulders just like you do, just like I did. His father is my uncle, my closest and most caring uncle. When we were struggling as a family, he was the only person who would check in with us almost every day, cracking lots of jokes and lifting our spirits, and he also taught me how to play chess and strategize when I was a little kid. Although he had more challenges than we did, I never saw him sad or down: he was the most humorous and optimistic person I knew back then, and he still is. Now, it is my time to repay the debt and take care of his child as much as possible. His child [ the one who reached out to me yesterday ] is now at around intermediate level of language proficiency and has been studying in my online courses for some time. I told him that only if he gets a 7.0 in IELTS and prove his work ethic, I will support him fully by giving him a job and sending him abroad for education. Hopefully, he will stick it out and get it done.

Har kimni o'z hikoyasi bor: va har bir hikoya kurashishga arziydi.

Don't give in to the temptations of fun, the distractions of social media, the whispering excuses that grow louder every time you obey them, and the comforting lies your mind tells you to avoid discomfort and hard work. We are meant to do more and to be more.

@WRITING_T
90% of people don't have a choice in their lives. Just because they are born into a "wrong" family or a "wrong" country at a "wrong" time, they have no choice but to suffer and even live like animals for the rest of their lives. No matter how much they study, they can't even get out of their village. No matter how much they work, they can't even save their loved ones from unbearable work, premature death, and utter hopelessness. No matter how hard they try, they can't even save themselves from the curse of destitution, the tyranny of ignorance, and the chains of despair. Deep down in their hearts, they know that they can't even rescue the ones who raised them, they can't even reach the ones who spark a light of love in their souls, they can't escape their hopeless existence. They live not as authors of their lives, but as witnesses.

And then, there is you and your problems.
