Let's get the facts straight first. Back in January 2023, Lindsay Clancy, a pediatric nurse, methodically strangled her three young children (aged five, three, and an eight-month-old baby). She did this while her husband was out running errands... errands she specifically sent him out to do. She tried to kill herself after, survived, and is now permanently paralyzed. The physical evidence isn't even up for debate. Her own lawyers don't deny it, and she literally confessed to it all.

But of course, the internet had to get involved and create this bizarre, disturbing alternate reality. You've got this massive wave of women on TikTok rallying fiercely to her side, completely throwing out crime scene realities just for the sake of blind female allegiance. I am not going to say this is the main reason I avoid tiktok, but this echochambering effect of social media, especially on tiktok, especially on "Utter Woke Nonesense" issues is one of the main reasons why I avoid it.

These armchair detectives are literally out here armed with nothing but wild conspiracy theories, misplaced intuition, and actual tarot card readings, deciding that the grieving husband is the real villain. They dont need no evidence, they dont need no fact, no lawyers, no prosecutor no nothing. He is a man = Bad. She is a woman = Good. Thats all they need.

They are actively trying to rewrite a brutal triple homicide into this twisted narrative of absolute maternal victimhood. They flatly refuse to hold a mother accountable for the ultimate betrayal of her own kids.

I understand there have been tiktoks trending with 'Same, Lindsay", with women just silently staring into their camera, hugging their children.... Same what exactly? Are they insinuating that they want to murder their children too?

Honestly, this whole chilling cultural phenomenon perfectly echoes what Janice Fiamengo wrote in The Goddess That Failed:

"Women are benign and men are dangerous. Even when we are aware of women and men committing similar violent acts, we interpret the acts differently, imputing cruel motives to men and helplessness to the women. We excuse women's violence with emphasis on emotional stress or mental illness. Women's violence is a cry for help: men's is an assertion of power. As a result, even when women harm the most vulnerable amongst us, we are unwilling to condemn the acts, fully punish the perpetrators, or revise our belief in female moral innocence."

So yeah, the actual courtroom battle over premeditation versus psychosis is just half the story at this point. The true spectacle is happening online, where you can see society's desperate, almost pathetic need to maintain this illusion of female moral innocence on full, terrifying display.

There are stories posted online, the truth of which is debatable, but i wouldnt put it past them, in which women were breaking up with their boyfriends of many years just because he didnt side with Lindsay... Really? Dear Future Wife... I hope you aint like this

Anyways, we count down the clock till when the trial is actually delivered and the jury has their verdict. Will post the link, but will update you with the trial outcome.
