Graphic Design is an art of communicating information, ideas, messages in visual context.

Simple put, communication.

Graphic Design is simply a medium of communicating a message to an audience.

It could be a group of persons, community, market, etc...

The goal of a Graphic Design is to help you simplify your message in a visually appealing way that anyone who comes across it is attracted can easily understand what you're saying.

According to Google, humans process visual information 60,000 times faster than texts information.

We find visual information more interesting and engaging as against texts information which is somewhat boring.

Graphic Design helps us to communicate our message using Visual Context that makes it interesting and appealing.

This is done by making use of Graphical Elements, Principles, Strategies, Tools, alongside creativity on the side of the designer.

Graphic Design is a very lucrative skill in that it is needed in every single industry anywhere in the world.

As the world goes more digital... There's a very high demand for Graphic Designers.

By Businesses, Organisations, Churches, Schools and so many more.

1. Balance

Balance gives stability and structure to your overall design.

To understand this better, you need to know that every element in your design has a visual weight.

When I say elements I mean, Colours, Font, Images, Shapes etc...

This weight can be in form of colour, size, etc...

Your design should give a feel of balance in the way it's structured and looks.

Just like in the normal world, when something gibes you an unbalanced feel, you feel uneasy about it.

Your designs, flyers, banners, logos must be created in a balanced way.

The way you arrange the elements, your layout, your sizing etc... must give a balanced feel to the overall design.

I'll send some examples to show you how balancing works in designs.

Taking a look at this design, you'll see that the top part of the design is filled up with some texts and the bottom part with the image of the car.

This layout gives an even balanced feel on this design.
