对于正在蔓延的新冠状病毒疫情，CNNIC 决定允许疫情最主要爆发地湖北地区的.CN 域名续费延期。CNNIC 发表声明称，它要求域名注册服务机构将到期域名（特别是注册地为湖北地区的域名）保留至疫情结束后，避免因疫情期间域名未续费而导致域名停用问题。Media
