It’s Monday again!
The hustle and bustle are back in full swing. Anything and everything to make money … we're all out here securing the bag!
But while you’re on the grind, it's important that I remind you that your hustle is different! You must engage in what I call 'Vision-Guided Hustling'.
(Sigh! I know I have a habit of picking topics that need long explanations, hoping I can fit them all into a single post... but hey, let’s give it a shot! 😅🤣)
So, what is Vision-Guided Hustling? It's simply doing what you can today so you can get to where you want to be tomorrow.
It's working today, while keeping the vision of tomorrow in sight !
You see, many times, the real challenge while building wealth in your prime years is avoiding two major traps:
Trap 1: Waiting endlessly for the “perfect” opportunity.
Here, many people pridefully ignore current chances, thinking, “I know my worth.” While waiting for optimal opportunities isn’t wrong, the problem arises when waiting turns into idleness. Idleness can wear down your mind and spirit… (I’ll try not to derail into a full-on rant about idleness here, but you get the point.)
Trap 2: Doing anything and everything just to survive today, at the expense of a consistent visionary drive.
When survival consumes you, you can lose the ability to map out your path to a carefully designed future. You’re too busy fighting for today to build for tomorrow. When you tow this path, you will end up in your latter years filled with misery, as you lived a life like an actor in a film who never had the chance to influence the script.
One of the best examples of Vision-Guided Hustling comes from the biblical story of David. David was destined to be a king, but at one point, he was just a shepherd. One day, while tending sheep, he was sent to deliver food to his brothers at the warfront.
When he arrived, he overheard a boastful tyrant mocking Israel's army. David, irritated, asked to fight and asked a crucial question:
“What shall be done for the man who kills this Philistine and removes this disgrace from Israel?”
This question reveals something important: Even while David was a shepherd, he never lost sight of his greater vision to be king. He was already negotiating for his future!
So, yes, it's okay to be a shepherd for now. But don’t get so caught up in tending the sheep that you forget your vision of becoming a king.
Like I would fondly say: On the journey to securing the bag, you must ensure that the bag doesn’t secure you! (Your vision, in this context)
I hope this helps

After 98 sleepless nights, I’ve come to a realization that might surprise you.
We’ve all heard it before: “If you sleep 8 hours a day, you’re sleeping away a third of your life.”
And it’s easy to feel a little guilty when you hear people proudly say they’ve been working through the night, while you slept through the night.
I used to think the same way—believing that working late into the night was a badge of honor, a sign of ambition and dedication.
But during my third year at university, everything changed.

I chuckled, “She’s such a stubborn girl,” I said casually.
Before I could finish, her mother’s firm but gentle voice interrupted, “Strong-willed.”
It took a second, but I realized she wasn’t just correcting me—she was redefining the way her child was seen.
It struck me: she wasn’t going to let anyone label her daughter as “stubborn.” No negative tags allowed—her child was “strong-willed,” and she made that clear.
As I reflected on it, I was reminded of a powerful statement I heard in a session once:
"Life rewards you according to your definitions."
At first, it sounded simple. But connecting it to this moment, it suddenly became revolutionary.
Think back to school days—remember the classmates who always had the answer? They were the first to raise their hands, while some of us (probably sitting in the back, making mischief) labeled them as 'proud' or 'show-offs'.
Or maybe you even used the Nigerian slang I.T.K. (“I Too Know”) for them.
It seemed harmless, right? Just a joke.
But over time, the weight of those words adds up. The next time they wanted to answer, they hesitated, thinking, “Will they call me a show-off again?”
Eventually, they stopped speaking up altogether, and unknowingly, their self-esteem began to erode.
Fast forward to adulthood—now it’s 2024, and that same person struggles with confidence, avoids eye contact, and fears speaking up because their difference was wrongly 'defined' by others.
Contrast this with another child whose parent, like the mother I mentioned earlier, said, “You’re not showing off—you’re just outspoken.”
That child grows up with a different definition, one that empowers them. They become leaders, communicators, and persuaders—because they received the 'right' label early on.
Here’s the truth: 'We’re all different, but the way we define those differences shapes our future.'
Maybe a wrong label has held you back for years, perhaps your 2024 problem, started with the wrong definitions introduced to you in 2000's or the 90's
The question is, Do you need to redefine your difference?
What if;
- You're not emotional, you're empathetic and in tune with your feelings.
- You're not reckless, you're bold and willing to take risks.
- You're not difficult, you're assertive and know your worth.
- You're not a talkative, you're expressive and engaging.
(P.s, This is not an excuse not to take constructive feedback, and optimize your character 🤣, some of you need change, not any redefinition).

I want to experiment something here
Let’s call it a ‘town hall solution meeting’
Type of your greatest current challenge, or a question you want to ask, or something you need clarity on.
I’ll allow community members proffer solutions, and probably comment with a couple of solutions
Let’s see how this goes!
(P.s: if you’re also looking for an opportunity, you can pitch yourself also)
If it goes well, we will do it a couple of times

Look at the board
This was the first investment I made in my life (about 4 years ago !)
A whooping 37,500 (forget T-pain, that was a lot of money back then 😂)
You can keep saying one day, or you can make this DAY ONE
P.s I also miss when I would go to universities to train on basic finance 😂. This was in a university hall where I was training students on investment basics
Keep going,

There is seemingly a great lesson to learn here on personal financial empowerment as ladies
I’m not a marriage coach, I won’t come and give you marriage lessons
However, I want to point out something
Never, ever let the gram trick you into sharing your networth online, even to prove a point
Don’t do it!!
Leave the thought of how much money you have to ALWAYS BE A MYSTERY
Except you are in a position where by regulation, you have to declare it!
If not, let it always remain a mystery
If you still see the need to prove a point of your self worth via material wealth, then you’re not FULLY DELIVERED FROM POVERTY.

Life always seems like an endless chase of goats.

As I travel to speak in many places,
I always encounter many people, they show up with certain regular questions
- What business can I do
- What savings app should I use at this age
- Where can I invest
- Where can I find investors for my starup
And sometimes, I can tell their deep desire, its basically to strike material wealth, but as I observe deeply, I see seomething deeper that needs to be sorted out.
Ther's a faulty engine, something within their build-up will always sabotage their journey to wealth
They think its external, but truly, the problem is internal
I'll attach the link to a short video, it explains many peoples problems in just 5 minutes.
It can be the missing piece you have been looking for.
Please watch it like your life depends on it, because it probably does.

A Letter to WIERDOS: The ones whom the World never seems to understand
Too serious, too playful, too driven, too disciplined, too principled. At some point, we've all been labeled as “too something.” It’s usually a way of calling out what others see as an extreme focus or passion in a particular area.
(Sometimes, these labels hit close to the truth; other times, it’s just a matter of being misunderstood.)
People love to label. They categorize what they don’t recognize, making sense of what doesn’t fit into their familiar patterns. Often, these labels are temporary, but sometimes they stick, becoming a permanent description—something they think you are, rather than what you’re becoming.
Here’s what I’ve found: visionaries, the builders, those who change the world, are the ones who receive these labels. Think of Musk founding SpaceX to colonize Mars, a dream others found absurd. Gates dropping out of Harvard, telling his mom he’d put a computer on every desk. Bezos leaving Wall Street to start Amazon in a garage. Zuckerberg obsessing over connection over profits with Facebook. Larry Page aiming to “index the world’s information”—a phrase people dismissed as pure fantasy.
Sure, you can brush it off. But every now and then, those labels seep in. “Too serious” makes you wonder if you should loosen up; “too hardworking” tempts you to relax. But dulling that edge, that unique intensity, robs the world of the contribution only you can make.
The funny thing is, everyone suddenly “gets” you once you’ve made it. But while you’re in the process, it can feel like an uphill battle of misunderstandings and doubts.
We remember the few who broke through, but what about the countless ones who gave up and conformed?
For those of you still in the fire, still pushing through, still striving for results—this is for the weird ones.
Dear Wierdo,
I’ve decided to write you a series of heartfelt words.
My hope is that, in time, these letters will be the strength you need to keep moving forward through the darkest times.

A Letter to WIERDOS: The ones whom the World never seems to understand Too serious, too playful, too driven, too disciplined, too principled. At some point, we've all been labeled as “too something.” It’s usually a way of calling out what others see as an…
I rarely ask for this Favour!
The ‘a letter to weirdos’ series will have me write at least ten letters across the next ten weeks
It’s going to stress me, but if it helps you, I’ll do it 😅
For some reason, I really feel it’s a very important series for young people navigating life
Too many people have given up because they didn’t find an explanation to their lives and they actually thought they had problems
I’m requesting two Favors:
1. Whenever I drop an excerpt of a letter here, (The full ones will be on substack), please flood with comments, questions etc.(both on telegram and substack). It’ll help me to get feedback and channel it into the next writing
2. Please share agressively like your affiliate marketers do 😂😂. (It won’t be bad for us to hit 5k before the end of the year yunno😅😂)
Like your MLM people will say, just bring 2 people, those 2 people will bring 2 people and the chain goes on, before you know it you’ll be a billionaire ….😂😂😂
That’s all I ask, I hope you grant my Favours
Thank you!

For the umpteenth time, learn not to get carried away!
Who won the election is OUT OF YOUR CONTROL, and to a large extent NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS.
This is where the masses start and stop their conversations.
While the masses engage in worthless conversations on the gram about outcome the election.
'Kamala vs. Trump' is the extent of their reasoning scope.
The elites take it further, they ask
'If Kamala or Trump wins, what will be the implications'
They begin to think of the potential implications of either candidate winning
What are the regulatory implications?
What are the idealogical implications?
What laws would they bring up?
What close alliances do they have (maybe Elon Musk👀, and he is planning a spaceX IPO....), who are the others.
what do I need to look out for?
Will access to certain regions become more stringent, perhaps I need to work on mine?
Everytime you move from thinking about EVENTS, to start thinking about the EFFECT OF THE EVENTS, you are reworking your mind to think like the elites
In such thinking, you will find glaring but subtle business opportunities and Investment opportunites.
Find them, and like one at the pool of bethesda, JUMP IN !!!
And don't yap at me that you don't know where to start from...youtube is free
Leave netflix for once😂
Yes, those boring commentaries you don't watch, the gold is inside there.
Train yourself to always be ten steps ahead
Grow up, don't just grow old
Stop spectating !!!
