Earning money is a fairly routine and simple process.
We get up, go to work, and are paid at the end of the month.
For some of us it, it's the monthly allowance sent.
That's the easy part; now comes the difficult part: deciding how to spend it.
Don't get me wrong - we ALL know how to spend money - spending is a much easier and more enjoyable task than making it - but what I'm talking about is spending it WISELY.
This rule however helps with your budget process once any money comes in for you.
The first 50% (or half) of what you have is to be used for your everyday cost of living. Things like bills, food, car expenses and entertainment.
The next 40% of what you have is for investments. It can include investment properties, stocks and self education
The next 10% of what you have is used for all your wants. These include vacations or expensive products.
The 50/40/10 rule budget can be a great tool to build a good spending habit and for you to focus on a bigger picture.

Sergey Brin was born in Moscow, Russia in 1973. He immigrated with his family to the United States at the age of six.
Brin's dad studied math; little Brin found his interest in math too and studied math too.
He went as far as studying Math and Computer Science at the University of Maryland.
Sergey got his doctorate at Stanford University where he met Larry Page.
The idea for google started as a PhD project. Brin and Page combined their knowledge of math and computer science to build an algorithm that took into account the number of links and the importance of those links.
Before launching Google, Sergey Brin & his partner attempted to sell their algorithm to Excite and Yahoo, but were rejected for a weird reason- It was overly effective.
The initial name they had in mind was BackRub. They later decided and registered the domain Google.com in September 1997 with the mission to organise the world’s information, and dropped out of Stanford the following year to work on their search engine.
The rest, as we now know, is history
As at 2019, according to Forbes list, Brin was the 13th richest person in the universe, with a net worth of $56.8 billion.
