I want you to think of the above statements deeply.
Do you remember in class when lessons are ongoing and suddenly your tutor asks for a volunteer or ask a question and everyone seems to be waiting for the first person (that bold guy/lady)?
Do you remember actually knowing the answer but waiting for ‘the first person’ ?
I grew up in a Nigerian home where you are forced to understand communication through your parent’s eyes.
Trust me, the eyes of my mother had more vocabulary than your dictionary. One glance at them and you understood what they were saying perfectly.
These ‘optical communication’ was very very useful whenever you went out on any kind of visit.
A random example is when you go out to a party with your siblings or perhaps to visit one of your parents’ friends; you dared not to eat any food offered to you without the parental go ahead with their eyes no matter how hungry you have been (Im sure some of you can relate 😂😂😂😂).
Sometimes you would still wait for extra layers of confirmation even after you get the ‘optical go-ahead’; we would still wait for the brave one to take the first spoon or the first bite out of the food offered (usually my elder brother).
This is the same with many of us with our current financial state.
The limit you have placed on your financial life is primarily because of the background you came from.
Perhaps you have never seen anyone earn in millions.
Every time you ‘WANT TO’, the thought of ‘WHO HAS EVER DONE SO’ pops up in your head, and shuts down your imagination of greatness maybe because you can not find any immediate reference in your family, maybe even your lineage.
You want to aspire, but then you don’t even have the boldness to ‘be the first’, like the stories I shared above,
As you read through these lines, I want you to realize
If everyone chooses to wait for the first, then eventually nobody will take actions
It really doesn’t matter if you were born poor, or from a poor lineage.

There are 180 different types of currencies in the world today. And incredibly, only 8% of it is actual, physical, hold-it-in-your-hand cash.
On reflection, this might not seem so surprising.
Internet banking has never been more popular, and the huge selection of digital payment methods has helped phase out the need for bills and coins. But still, when we think of money, we picture paper and metal — not numbers on a screen.
Today, many of us are now earning and spending money without ever actually touching it.
According to an article in the New York Times, cash is unlikely to disappear anytime soon. However, the movement away from using cash is happening at different speeds around the world. In more technologically advanced countries, cashless societies are edging ever closer, while poorer countries lack the infrastructure to fully embrace electronic payments.
At the end of the day, just as we assign value to money, the existence of physical cash will come down to how we perceive it. If the vast majority believe it’s quicker, easier, and safer to transfer numbers from one hard drive to another, that could spell the end of paper money. And our descendents will never know the joy of finding a crumpled bill in a long-unworn coat pocket.

Elon Musk was born on June 28, 1971, in Pretoria, South Africa. As a child, Musk was so lost in his daydreams about inventions that his parents and doctors ordered a test to check his hearing.
At about the time of his parents’ divorce, when he was 10, Musk developed an interest in computers. He taught himself how to program, and when he was 12 he sold his first software: a game he created called Blastar.
In grade school, Musk was short, introverted and bookish. He was bullied until he was 15 and went through a growth spurt and learned how to defend himself with karate and wrestling.
Musk headed to Stanford University in California to pursue a PhD in energy physics. However, his move was timed perfectly with the Internet boom, and he dropped out of Stanford after just two days to become a part of it, launching his first company, Zip2 Corporation in 1995. Musk became a U.S. citizen in 2002.
Musk became the co-founder, CEO and product architect at Tesla Motors, a company formed in 2003 that is dedicated to producing affordable, mass-market electric cars as well as battery products and solar roofs. Musk oversees all product development, engineering and design of the company's products.
Five years after its formation, in March 2008, Tesla unveiled the Roadster, a sports car capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds, as well as traveling nearly 250 miles between charges of its lithium ion battery.
In May 2019 the company, now known as TBC, landed a $48.7 million contract from the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority to build an underground Loop system to shuttle people around the Las Vegas Convention Center.
From teaching himself how to program to making one of the most expensive cars in the world, Elon Musk is currently the second richest person according to Forbes with a net worth of 190.7 billion USD.
