▪️Forgetting to say "bismillah" when slaughtering▪️

📝🔹Question:

You have said in a fatwa of yours, Oh Shaykh, the obligation of mentioning the name of Allah when slaughtering in regards to the 'Udhiyyah and other than it, some confusion occurred with a brother in this subject, and he said: "but the shaykh mentioned in another fatwa on jumu'ah (friday); that there is no problem in regards to whoever forgets to mention the name of Allah and that it's permissible to eat whatever he slaughtered."
What is the reply to this, Oh Shaykh?
May Allah reward you with good.

📩🔸Answer:

Yes, mentioning the name of Allah when slaughtering is an obligation upon whoever remembers to do so, not upon he who forgets.
This is the position of the majority of the scholars.
Imaam Bukhari mentioned in his "Saheeh": (The chapter of mentioning the name of Allah when slaughtering, and he who leaves this of intentionally.)

Al-Haafidh Ibn Hajr said: "He [Imaam Bukhari] using the wording (intentionally) indicated to it being more correct to make a distinction between he who leaves of mentioning the name of Allah intentionally; eating from what this person has slaughtered is impermissible, and he who forgot; this being permissible, due to being overcome by forgetfulness.
Ibn 'Abbas said: "There is no harm, if one forgets."
And likewise due to what he [Imaam Bukhari] mentioned next of the statement of Allaah, the Most High:
(ولا تأكلوا مما لم يذكر اسم الله عليه وإنه لفسق)
"Eat not (O believers) of that (meat) on which Allah's Name has not been pronounced (at the time of the slaughtering of the animal), for sure it is Fisq (a sin and disobedience of Allah)."
And then said: the forgetful is not called a Faasiq (sinner)."

At-Tabari said: "Whoever says it's impermissible to eat from what a Muslim slaughtered while he has forgotten to mention the name of Allaah, is a position which is far from being correct, due it's alienation and departure from what the congregation are upon."

These means are in opposition to the legislation, blind imitation of the enemies of Islaam, it brings about misconduct, and incitement of civil unrest, due to this its incumbent to distance from it and to warn from it.

📝🔹Question:

Many of the people that perform ruqya, recite on a large container of water, which they then divide into smaller bottles, and is then placed in boxes to be sold to the people.

Likewise we have witnessed another affair with those people, which is the gathering of a large number of sick people into a single room, and in this room are loud speakers, the recitor then recites upon these ill, afflicted people through these speakers.

We hope that you, may Allah preserve you, can clarify if this action is permissible, as a form of advice for the Muslims.
May Allah reward you the best of rewards.

📩🔸Answer:

There is no harm in this, due to the firmness of this salafi scholar, and his seriousness in regards to the sunnah, it has become the case he is utilised when testing the people, similar to the utilisation of the salaf of firm scholars, when they tested the people, perhaps it could of been the case that they would then be attributed to them, like it was the case with Imaam Ahmed, may Allah have mercy upon him.

‘Ubayd Al-Jaabiree is a misguided individual who misguides others, and to familiarise oneself with his misguidances, refer to the book of our brother, Shaykh Yusuf Al-Jazaa'iree, titled;

"Al-Hujaj Al-Kaashifa 'an Fitnatil Jaabiree wa Dalalaatihi Az-Zaa'igha" [The evidences which unveil the fitnah of Al-Jaabiree and his deviant misguidances]

It contains what will suffice you of clarification, on the condition of the misguided 'Ubayd.

The things that nullify the ablution, according to what is most correct:

1. Urinating.
2. Stool.
3. [Madhiy] Pre-ejaculatory fluid, thin discharges due to sexual stimulation both male and female.
4. [Wadhiy] White penile/vaginal discharge, thick white fluid, discharges usually with/after urinating.
5. Passing wind.
6. Blood, worms, small stones, hair, and whatever else that may exit the front and back passage.
7. Wetness from a woman’s private part caused by sexual arousal or foreplay.
8. Deep sleep.
9. Loss of intellect; through madness, losing consciousness or intoxication.
10. Eating camel meat.
11. A man or a woman using their palm or the back of their hands, not the nails, to touch their private part without a barrier, intentionally or unintentional.

This deviant group [Jama'ah Tableegh], is from the most ignorant sect of the religion of Allah, they do not spread Tawheed nor do they spread the Sunnah, nor do they bring about understanding for the people in their religion, instead they spread ignorance and false beliefs and superstitions.

📩🔹Question:

What's the proof for the permissibility of combining the prayers for the traveller?

📩🔸Answer:

The Prophet ﷺ would combine the prayers when he travelled, Ibn 'Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, said:

(رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ إِذَا جَدَّ بِهِ السَّيْر)
"I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ combine the Maghrib and 'Isha prayer when he was in a hurry while travelling."
[Agreed upon]

And Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, said:

(كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَجْمَعَ بَيْنَ الصَّلَاتَيْنِ فِي السَّفَرِ أَخَّرَ الظُّهْرَ حَتَّى يَدْخُلَ أَوَّلُ وَقْتِ الْعَصْرِ، ثُمَّ يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَهُمَا)
"When the Prophet ﷺ wanted to combine between two prayers while travelling, he would delay the Dhuhr prayer until the start of the 'Asr prayer, then combine between the two."

📩🔸Answer:

Narrated by Abi Waaelee, saying: ‘’A man came to ‘Ali [may Allah be pleased with him] and said:
‘’Oh leader of the believers indeed I am not capable to repay my loan, so aid me.” He replied to him saying: “Should I not teach you words that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) taught me? If you had a debt upon you similar to the mountain of Seer, Allah would fulfill it for you. The man replied:
‘’ Yes’’, He said: ‘Say:
اللهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ، وَأَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ
(Allāhummakfinī biḥalālika an ḥarāmika, wa aghninī bi faḍlika amman siwāka)

"O Allah, suffice me with Your lawful against Your prohibited, and make me independent of all those besides You ".
[Reported by Ahmad, Tirmidhi and declared Hasan by Albani]
