Spearman's Hypothesis - Black-White differences on IQ tests positively correlate with the tests' g-loading.
Evidence:
Blacks and Whites
"The analysis of all 15 data points yields a mean vector correlation of 0.57. Spearman’s hypothesis is confirmed comparing Black and White adults."

Amerindians, Canadians and Americans
"We carried out a meta-analysis based on 25 data points and a total N = 2706 Amerindians. Spearman's hypothesis was strongly confirmed with a mean r with a value of .62."
https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0160289615000367
Latin Americans
"Spearman’s hypothesis was strongly supported with a mean r of 0.63. After correction for various statistical artifacts this value became rho = 0.91. Therefore, we conclude that Spearman’s hypothesis also holds true for White/Latin-American Hispanic differences"
https://www.mdpi.com/2624-8611/1/1/8
Jews
Spearman's hypothesis is tested comparing European Jews and Oriental Jews in Israel.
Two meta-analyses strongly confirm Spearman's hypothesis.
"In both meta-analyses Spearman's hypothesis was strongly confirmed with mean rs with values of, respectively, .80 and .87."

Spearman’s Hypothesis Tested on Black Adults: A Meta-Analysis
Blacks generally score significantly lower on intelligence tests than Whites. Spearman’s hypothesis predicts that there will be large Black/White differences on subtests of high cognitive complexity, and smaller Black/White differences on subtests of lower…
The Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT) is a standardized exam undergraduate students take in hopes of getting into a medical school. Davis et al. (2013) find that although ethnic groups differ significantly in their mean MCAT scores, there is no evidence that the test itself is racially biased after analyzing its validity.

Some “expert” writing for Vox is gaslighting people to believe that George Floyd was “emotionally appropriate and behaving rationally.” You don’t need some stupid fuck in a lab coat to tell you that Derek Chauvin’s knee wasn’t on the neck the whole time, and that Floyd was having trouble breathing before he was on the ground.
Engzell et al. (2021) examine the effects of school closures using data from the Netherlands. They find either a significant negative learning loss, a moderate negative learning loss, or no learning gain from online learning. This is true across all income levels. The negative learning losses are most pronounced among students of low SES.

Several results stand out from the meta-analysis. We find a statistically significant negative relationship between ethnic diversity and social trust across all studies. The relationship is stronger for trust in neighbours, and when studied in more local contexts. https://www.amren.com/news/2019/10/ethnic-diversity-and-social-trust-a-narrative-and-meta-analytical-review/

ECT: Dangerous on Either Side of the Pond
No one has precise data about how many Americans receive ECT each year, let alone how many treatments each patients receives or how closely providers space treatments. This is a troubling dilemma, according to the authors.

Good news. Frampton et al. (2021) examine the new covid-19 strain (B.1.1.7) in the UK and although they find that it spreads at higher rates than the original strain, patients don’t die at higher rates nor do they have worse outcomes after contracting it.
