Self-belief:
We discussed this on Solcast and I'm getting back to it to expand a bit further.
Imagine the following:
Two guys, both apply for the same job.
These two profiles are EXACTLY the same except one thing:
1-thinks he is suitable.
2-thinks he's going to get rejected.
What happens in their minds before their job interviews?
1- Visualizes himself at the workplace, imagines the type of work he will be doing, reflects on what types of tasks he is able to fulfill and the changes that will occur in his life once he's on.
He's already planning and visualizing, he is past the interview.
He is already thinking beyond the obstacle.
During his interview he will have properly reflected on the job position and all the things it implies.
2-Is stressed about his interview, thinks of all the things that can go wrong and Visualizes failure.
He imagines himself stressing out and forecasts the negative result.
He conditions himself for failure.
Now, let's say that somehow both get the job.
(Assuming number 2 gets past his limiting beliefs)
The 1st one gets right into it, the 2nd has to think of all the stuff that 1 prepared before the interview.
Believing in yourself opens your eyes to new possibilities, allows you to project yourself further than the current obstacles.
It gives you an edge.
Puts you one step ahead.
It's not about what can go wrong, it's about thinking right.

There is an immense benefit that comes from talking to yourself out loud.
It makes you more conscious of how you sound and really makes your thoughts stick in your mind.
Get used to telling yourself every morning:
"I deeply love you"
Look at yourself in a mirror first thing in the morning and say it.
You'd be surprised how beneficial it is and how light bringing it can turn out.
Start your day with some self-love.
Express it to yourself explicitly so that you remember it all day long.

Would you forgive betrayal in a friendship?

Life Mistakes I've Witnessed
Part 6: Influenced Betrayal
Here is another time where I fucked up. Another time where my poor ethics made me question myself and come out a better man. Something that I did wrong, that made me build stronger ethics.
A few years ago, my friends would often call me whenever they'd need drugs because they knew I used to have connections. Although I didn't really sell drugs at the time, I could get them pretty much anything.
One night in 2017, a friend calls me and asks if I knew anyone that would get him acid. I had started trying to get away from all of that at the time but I still had drug addicts and drug dealers as close friends.. So I told him that I wouldn't get involved this time but gave him a phone number to call.
At that moment, there was another guy with me, who would usually sell from time to time. As I hang up the phone, he turns around and says he has acid, then starts laughing.
Confused by his actions, I ask him what's going on...
He tells me to call back my friend and to tell him to come now.
The two guys didn't know each other.
I refuse at first but he keeps insisting so I call the other one back telling him my friend has LSD and he could come get some.
As we're waiting for him to come, the guy says he didn't really have LSD and was planning on scamming them.
🤦♂️
I don't know what went in my mind but I said nothing.
I just went along with it.
When the other one comes, he hands him two pieces of sugar, told him there was 1mg drop of LSD in each one of them when really there was nothing but sugar.
I kept silent and then just left.
I was doing my best to mind my own business and get away from all of this, although I knew what was going on was wrong.
The next morning I wake up with a dozen of calls from the guy that bought fake LSD.
I call him back many times but no answer.
It's only a couple of days later that I'll hear from some other friends that he got aggressed that night.
In fact, he tried to call back the guy and get more "LSD" since the first ones he took did no effect (no shit..)
The other one simply decided that instead of giving them sugar this time, he'll send a few guys to take everything they had.
Which they did.
Thinking back on it, I realized how poor of me it was to connect those two people.
One was naive, the other was purely evil.
Little did I think before letting them meet without me and exchanging phone numbers.
Knowing both of them, there was no way it could have ended well.
I don't talk to any of them anymore, one by choice, the other thinks I have something to do with what happened to him that night.
The thing is, I would probably think the same as he does.
Anyway, it's only then that I realized that there was nothing noble about helping people destroy themselves.
I realized no one is worthy of trust.
Not even me.
So I decided to mind my own fucking business from there on.
I decided not to put myself in situations where I didn't want to be anymore.

Please explain to me how being constantly sad is a real thing..
I really don't get it.
Let's fix this now.
What makes you emotional is your own thoughts. It's how you react to events that happen in your life.
That's the exact point that makes you feel good or bad.
Now you're not free to choose what happens in your life for sure, but what you're free to do is think.
Again, the solution is the problem itself.
If you're free to think about whatever the fuck you want (and you totally are) then stop dwelling on what you can't control.
It's that simple.
Can fix it? Go for it.
Can't fix it? Move on to something else.
There is ABSOLUTELY no reason for ANYONE to torture themselves.
It just doesn't make sense.
Why would you do that to yourself.
Take action or ignore.
Overthinking leads nowhere.
I really don't get it.

If you feel like there is a void inside you, a missing piece that you can't seem to point the finger on.
Just know that it won't come from others.
It won't come from someone you meet, it won't come from a love relationship.
In fact, as long as you won't find it, your friendships and relationships will fail.
Simply because you're not at peace with who you are.
Because you're not whole.
Not because you're alone, but rather because you're not there for yourself and never got to fully know it.
There are deep feelings inside of us that we are unaware of.
We do feel them but can't know where they come from.
It's that uncertainty that creates a void inside oneself.
Questions without answer.
If only you sat down, meditated and thought deeply about what makes you who you are, you would connect with your inner self and transcend subconscious barriers.
You'd feel free.

Sitting in a room kills your creativity.
The physical limitations put by being trapped between four walls have a direct impact on your imaginative mind.
Can't feel inspired looking at a blank wall.
Even if it's decorated, there is no depth to it.

Most people do this mistake of trying to justify their behavior by splitting themselves into multiple entities.
"my inner child"
"my ego"
"my insecure side"
"drunk me"
All of those are nothing but fake excuses.
We say such things to feel less responsible of our actions.
Blaming it all on a third party that isn't us, assuming we dont have control over it.
It often comes out as a joke but deep down you really are giving fake excuses for your poor behavior.
It's only when you take responsibility for all that constitutes you that you start improving it.
It's so easy to blame.
It's harder to take responsibility.
Easy is rarely worth it.

Potential = Unlimited
Time = Limited
Mental Space = Very limited
It's okay to waste away opportunities for as long as you learn from the experience.
If you do, you will make sure that the time spent was invested into learning something new.
Potential and opportunities are abundant, you mental space is not.
Don't dwell on what could have been, move on.
Never focus on "what if"s.
Focus on the now, on how you manage and direct your thoughts and how you spend and invest your time.
