Don't engage in endless explanations.

You will doubt yourself.

If you're confident, go and do it.

You'll soon know if you were wrong and you'll acquire experience at the same time.

Reframe this in your mind:

There is nothing wrong with making mistakes, it's enriching.

Do not fear failure.

Look forward to its lessons.

Not everyone's advice is worth listening to.

Take calculated risks, but it's imperative that you fuck up.

There is no way around it.

Pain IS the process.
Trust the process.
Trust the pain.

It means you're growing.

Risk takers almost always achieve more than the risk averse.

That's only half the truth.

Risk takers also fuck up more often and are more likely to commit fatal mistakes.

Yes, you should definitely more prone to taking risks, that's what life is about.

Yes, you should listen to your intuition more often.

I agree with all that.

But you should also be sharp and smart about the risks you take.

It always needs to be calculated.

Even if you're going to follow your gut on something, you need to thoroughly think about everything else that is involved.

Listen, I've seen people fuck up their whole lives over one small decision.

It almost happened to me.

One simple thing that makes you smarter than most people is to simply be able to understand and forecast consequences and how you'll handle them.

Uncertainty cannot be eradicated; but it must be reduced.

Don't act like a brainless chicken.

That's not what taking risks mean.

I will be hosting a Twitter space with Atlas on Wednesday 31st at 8PM GMT.

We will have a very special guest.

Dr. Anthony Metivier is a memory specialist, mentalist, magician and is a PhD holder.

Let's just say the man knows what he's talking about.

I think this would be a great opportunity to learn from a professional rather than the average Twitters doods.

Hope to see many of you attend 🥂

Meta-Attention: The ONE productivity trick most overlook.

As much as I don't like "productivity tricks" because I believe that you get shit done when you truly want your vision to come true, this is something that I've unconsciously been doing.

I have recently discovered this term but it's something I've been mentioning here and there before.

Meta-attention refers to the attention of your attention; the awareness of your own attention.

And it's quite interesting how this simple thought can change the way you work.

This is THE mental space management technique one should use to:

increase focus
reach flow state
multiply productivity by 10x

Yet it is as simple as asking yourself:

Why is this relevant to what I'm doing?

You'll notice that most of the time, it's not.

And when it's not, you'll rationalize the fact of not giving it anymore attention as it doesn't deserve any.

This helps put things into perspective, fight overthinking and actually focus on what matters.

Just keep yourself in check as to what your attention is being spent on.

You'll soon notice that you're able to disregard anything that doesn't deserve your interest and focus on the things that drive you forward.

Try it.

Atlas has this thing he says that you should always remember:

Husbands reveal their true nature when the wife is sick.
Wives reveal their true nature when the husband is poor.

Friends reveal their true nature when you lend them.

Brothers reveal their true nature when the matter of inheritance is discussed.

I highlighted the middle part because that is what I want to talk about...

Forget about your personal experiences, people are vile. It'll shock you over what amount a person would throw away the friendship you 'think' you have.

Not saying that they are not your friends, but most people cannot overcome their nature.

I've had friends who have borrowed from me and repaid, I've had those that disappeared immediately they got their hands on the money.

People are funny, but it is more sad than laughable.

Do not be surprised if your friend of 10 years suddenly becomes unreachable because of a few thousand $$, hell less than a thousand dollars.

The reason to avoid borrowing friends money is to keep the relationship, not because you'll lose the money. Some people are unreliable, and will fuck the two of you over.

If you love your friend, learn to say 'no.'

Your posture impacts your thoughts A LOT.

You were not born to spend the day sitting.

Look at your body, it is shaped to be standing and moving. It even craves it.

Your levels of energy are far higher when you're standing, while they drop heavily when you sit.

You should be spending the least time possible on a chair.

Definitely most of your day.

Our brains are more efficient and productive when standing.

Wanna test your self?

Try scrolling on social media while standing.

Then try scrolling on social media while sitting.

Tell me which lasts longer.

Do it yourself and draw your own conclusions.

Wanna get sharper?

Spend more time standing.

When you reflect about your life

What you really reflect on

Is the repetitive actions you do

Your routine
Your daily habits

The thing is, those things are mainly subconscious actions

When you decide that

Tomorrow you'll hit the gym,

You do it the first time and for some people

They never go again.

So when they think of themselves

They don't think about that one time they went to the gym

They'll think about all the times they didn't

But..

It's within your control to do it

You proved to yourself that you could do it.

Again, the brain learns through either hypnosis or repetition

But repetition is stronger

It takes you one conscious decision repeated 21 times

To acquire a habit

Keep this in mind

This is a personal deadline you set for yourself.

Whenever you start something, don't say I'll do it now or I'll do it tomorrow

Say I'll do it for the next 3 weeks

Then follow up on your word.

That's how you build the habits you want.

That's how you feel proud when you reflect on your life.

Nobody understands the importance of speed and momentum.

It applies to all areas of reality.

Business all the way down to changing your life.

Every second you wait is time wasted. Momentum wasted. Energy wasted.

You need to be faster.

Yes, you, reading this.

You NEED to be faster.

You think you do a lot, but you're wrong.

You could easily do 5x the work if you completed your work 5x faster. With no real impact on your life.

But what stops you from doing this?

Your brain works slowly and so you live life slowly.

You sit around and "think".

And the truth of reality is this...

Action ALWAYS beats thinking up the best plan.

While you're sitting around thinking, I'm building things in the real world.

Because it's only with SPEED that you defy gravity.

Speed. Is a necessity.

If your life isn't perfect, ask yourself the following question...

Are you doing the wrong things? Probably not.
Are you doing them too slowly? Certainly.

The reason I live the life that I do is that I complete every simple action ultra-efficiently.

If you did the exact same things with intense urgency and no hesitation, you would be somebody.

I don't know how else to say it to make you understand. The more that you get done, the more you will achieve.

That's how reality works.
