This was the easiest money I have made recently. On chain showed shenanigans. Bid based on that. Ended up being an IMF catalyst. I'm going to expand this game plan out to other eth coins going forward.

Things are pretty cooked right now. Sort of post-thesis/post-meme world. It's like the stats are saying bull market but on chain isn't reflecting that.

Current Thoughts on the Market

Memes are cooked. There’s zero upside in aping any fresh pair right now - any real money that was going to be made in this meta has already been made. Outside of swing trading larger-cap memes or catching a new flagship coin on a fresh launchpad/platform, it’s best to stay away.

EVM liquidity looks strong. Seems like a lot of ETH was held back and never bridged over for Solana Summer. Plenty of DeFi/MemFi ponzi opportunities coming, in my view. We’ve already seen the playbook with IMF, but expect much more “treasury-style” action on ETH soon.

Ecosystem tokens and APY on stables are probably the best bet right now for parking larger stacks. These are slow cooks - not massive yield, but better than letting your bags sit idle. Abstract proved the model (not sure if Pump will), but there are others in this category worth a look.

All in all, the free, easy money has dried up. There’s limited ROI in chasing the same rinse-and-repeat bundled slop on Solana. Better to sit back and try to anticipate where the market’s going next, rather than playing the same game from 2024 or earlier this year.

$IMF just had a wave of liquidations and fell 80%. I scooped at 6 mil but there's probably still upside rn at 14 million if you have a high risk appetite.

Perhaps monitor the situation. NFA but I scalped and am out now. Will wait on comms from the team before any more buys.

My mid curve take on this is.

Grizz does NFTs, whitelist is token gated, they become a top PFP on sol, trencher wins more mindshare and moves into 20-30 mil ranges.

There is no functional reason it has been so low for so long other than market dilution.

It's also one of the tokens championed by the pump team.

Let's see how it plays out but I bought a bag the other day on the lows at 3 mil ish.

Thinking on this in more depth I am even more bullish that a PFP collection would be a huge price go up / mindshare catalyst. We already have the precedent here with pow et al rocking the $tokabu pfp sending it to ath at $27 mil. This + Alon mentioning something coming for organic community tokens on pump is basically a bullish soup of narratives for $trencher.

Alon did it. We have an avalanche meme fund model on pump now, so we should see all the coins alon promoted being the "darlings" of the ecosystem and seeing significant support. IMO pick something that you vibe with just turn the brain off and go for the ride. If this works out we've had the most obvious buy signals for a long time.

I'm writing a proper article on this thesis but this is the short form thesis.

Streaming is the future.
Crypto content is underserved in this market.
The TAM of this is $100 billion annually.
If we get .1% or even 0.05% of that it's 50-100 mil of new money into the ecosystem.
As stable coins etc goin mainstream, why is it so crazy to have a tokenized creator economy on crypto rails?
Also pump has 8 figs for all this stuff to make it work.
Basically it works both short and long term from a thesis perspective - and is highly speculative. So even if you don't believe in it prices will likely go up due to all of this.

It's a flywheel for creators with large web2 followings who don't have CT clout to push the chart.

$ZESTY is back cooking. It has ranged from low 200s up to 700s previously but it's looking primed to break out. Nelli is in a streamer house in Thailand and her IRL onboarding has really made the token something people are talking about and is converting into them bidding. I am bullish on her growing her brand and the token long-term.
