I had been waiting until I was no longer congested to continue the reading of camp of the Saints. Unfortunately tonight instead of doing the reading I have to spend the evening in the emergency room because my wife was T boned by a man who ran a stop sign. She’s suffering a concussion, nausea, and tingling and pain. She’s also having be breathing difficulties because she was trapped for a while and inhaled smoke.

I’m hoping to be back on track tomorrow. Appreciate any prayers offered for our health and run of bad luck this year.

Reading the back jacket I have been made aware that the author of the camp of the saints also wrote a book on the West Indies considered controversial. If anyone can locate for me “Secouons le cocotier” in English, perhaps that would be a great next read.
