गाँजे के पौधे का वानस्पतिक नाम कैनाबिस सैटिवा (Cannabis sativa) है। यह भांग की जाति का ही एक पौधा है। यह देखने में भाँग से भिन्न नहीं होता, पर भाँग की तरह इसमें फूल नहीं लगते। कैनाबिस के पौधों से गाँजा, चरस और भाँग, ये मादक और चिकित्सोपयोगी द्रव्य तथा फल, बीजतैल और हेंप (सन सदृश रेशा), ये उद्योगोपयोगी द्रव्य, प्राप्त किए जाते हैं।

🎍 Tiny cannabis capsules could help treat neurological diseases
A team of researchers led by Curtin University has discovered a new way to improve the absorption rate of medicinal cannabis when taken orally, which could potentially be used to treat neurological disorders such as Alzheimer's disease, multiple sclerosis and traumatic brain injuries in the future.
Published in the journal PLOS ONE and funded by industry partner Zelira Therapeutics, the researchers were able to create tiny capsules containing cannabinoids which, when taken orally, were absorbed by the body faster and penetrated the brain quicker in mice models with neurological diseases, than when it was delivered in liquid form.Join @Helping_Medicos for new updates
