In Tribute of SG60, Youth Volunteers comes together to break Singapore Book of Records with Children Cancer Foundation

UPLIFT invites you to join “Little Bites, Big Hearts”, an initiative to mark Singapore’s 60th birthday (SG60) with a powerful message of unity, service, and compassion.

Youth volunteers will come together at Clementi Community Centre to decorate and deliver 6,000 cupcakes in a single day and location — a sweet, symbolic gesture to honour children with cancer and healthcare professionals across Singapore.

The event also seeks to set a new record in the Singapore Book of Records for the most number of cupcakes decorated in one location in a single day! 🧁

Cupcakes lovingly decorated by volunteers and CCF beneficiaries will be distributed to healthcare professionals at Singapore General Hospital and National University of Hospital.

Join BAGUS Together at “It’s Giving Fest” at *SCAPE this weekend, 12 & 13 July!

It’s Youth Month and this youth-powered festival is all about spotlighting our talents, engaging our youths, and finding opportunities to give back as we celebrate SG60 together. Visit the NVPC & BAGUS Together booth to learn more about our groundups and their causes through mini games, with cute NVPC and BAGUS Together swag up for grabs!

There’ll be food trucks, a curated flea market, student short films, fun games and live workouts. Be entertained by sets feat. local acts Benjamin Kheng, Shazza, ALYPH and more through the evening!

This National Day, and in conjunction with SG60, groundup Dunearn Youth and its founder, Nurse Emily Yap is rallying the community to celebrate our pioneers at St Theresa's Home.

You can help Dunearn Youth bring joy to residents of St Theresa’s Home through a donation drive that will support:

💌 The creation of 60 heartfelt “We Love Singapore” CareCards handmade by volunteers
🥘 The supply of 60 packets of carrot cake to be served as a National Day treat
🎨 Conduct an Upcycled Art Workshop to foster creativity and connection between seniors and volunteers

Your donation will also go a long way in supporting Dunearn Youth’s National Day Donation Drive for groceries, as every donation made will directly support the provision of essential grocery items to the elderly residents of St Theresa’s Home.

The Municipal Services Office (MSO) is co-organising Youth Challenge 2025 with the National Youth Council (NYC) and they're seeking youths with great ideas to create meaningful public education and marketing campaigns that help build a better community!​

If you're between 15 to 35 years-old and passionate about making a difference in your neighbourhood, the Love Our 'Hood Youth Challenge (YC) wants to offer support to turn your ideas into reality!​

YC 2025 comprises four sessions held over four Saturdays:​

🔵 Workshops on 27 September, 4 October and 11 October 2025; and​

🔵 Pitching session on 1 November 2025.​

All sessions will be held at MND Complex, 9 Maxwell Road, Annex A Function Room, from 9.00 am to 1.30 pm.​
