Upcoming tick size / min quantity / step size updates on spot and perp markets.

On June 5 at 08:00 UTC, we'll be making updates to the tick size, minimum quantity, and step size parameters on a number of perps and spot markets.

Existing open orders will not be affected. They stay on the book and continue to fill as normal, even if their price or quantity no longer matches the new increments.

New orders will be bound to the new parameters once they go live. The new trading parameters will be automatically updated on the markets endpoint (https://api.backpack.exchange/api/v1/markets) once the change goes live on June 5 at 08:00 UTC.

Confirming these changes are live. The /api/v1/markets endpoint now returns the updated tick size / min quantity / step size for all affected markets.

Heads up - we'll be delisting the following market this Tuesday, June 16 at 06:00 UTC:

TON is rebranding to GRAM, so we're delisting the TON perp ahead of the change.
