🔥 CHINA’S AUGUST CPI RISES TO 0.8%

🖤 China’s CPI inflation rose to 0.8% year-on-year in August.
🖤 The reading matched expectations and was higher than July’s 0.5%.
🖤 August PPI also increased 3.8%, reflecting price pressures from energy and commodities.
🖤 Food prices continued to decline, while non-food prices rose more strongly.

🇨🇳 China’s inflation is gradually picking up from very low levels, but it is still far from being as “hot” as in the U.S.

🏙 U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent declared: “Now I’m the house… and you can bet against me if you want.”

🖤 The remark was aimed at the possibility of U.S. Treasury intervention to support the Yen.
🖤 The U.S. will increase the size of its bond buybacks to $6 billion tomorrow.
🖤 Future buyback operations will be at least $4 billion each.
🖤 Even so, the U.S. 10-year Treasury yield has climbed to its highest level since 2023.

Bad news has piled up for two straight weeks, but BTC is still holding on — at least it hasn’t “collapsed” alongside stocks yet.
