🏙 A senior Japanese Finance Ministry official said the BoJ will set policy based on Japan’s own economic conditions and will not be influenced by the U.S.
🇺🇸 Earlier, Scott Bessent repeatedly applied pressure, arguing that Japan should raise interest rates faster to support the yen.

The U.S. 10Y yield has climbed to around 4.78%, near its highest level in almost 20 months, even though the U.S. Treasury recently announced an increase in long-term bond buybacks from $2B to at least $4B per operation.
👉 Pressure is coming from:

🖤 Inflation remains elevated
🖤 The Fed has turned more hawkish after Jackson Hole
🖤 U.S. public debt has surpassed $40 trillion
🖤 Oil above $90 is reigniting inflation expectations
🖤 Investors are demanding higher yields to hold long-term U.S. debt
🚨 The higher yields go → the more pressure on stocks, gold, and BTC.

For yields to come down, the market needs cooler inflation, a less hawkish Fed, or an improvement in U.S. fiscal conditions*.*
