Even the ACLU supported this bill, proving that this isn’t a partisan issue—it’s about protecting your right to speak out.

HB2043 passed with a bipartisan supermajority out of committee.

HB2115 ensures that sexual exploitation of a minor is a Class 2 felony and is prosecuted as a dangerous crime against children in Arizona. This bill was amended to clarify the law to target adult predators while ensuring minors in consensual relationships are not unfairly criminalized.

Lawmakers and legal experts, including Rep. Quang Nguyen, Rep. Alex Kolodin, and Rep. Khyl Powell, joined the discussion to emphasize the importance of protecting children and ensuring the law is applied correctly. The bill received strong support from the Maricopa County Attorney's Office and many local organizations, highlighting its necessity in keeping Arizona’s children safe.

This bill is a small step forward in the fight for common sense election integrity.

In 2023, the Governor vetoed similar commonsense reform. Now, we’re bringing it back—revised and improved—to protect voters from confusion and misinformation. 🗳

Rep. Nick Kupper introduced HB2113 to ensure government buildings remain neutral by restricting the types of flags flown on public property. This bill honors symbols like the American flag, state flags, and flags for those who serve—keeping personal ideologies out of official spaces. The common sense bill passed out of committee!

While the ACLU opposes the bill based on a misconception of what the bill as amended entails, HB2113 is firmly rooted in the government's duty to maintain neutrality, not to infringe on any individual's free speech. The US Supreme Court clarified government speech and free speech in a doctrine during the 1990s.

Can you imagine getting a trash bag with 10s of 1000s of petitions or voter registration forms dropped off on the deadline day?

Well, that's what Maricopa County Recorder’s Justin Heap's office has to deal with under current law which incentivizes collectors to act in bad faith for a paycheck.

HB2007 from Rep. John Gillette, which passed bipartisan in committee, aims to solve that problem.

The only two Democrats who voted no gave absolutely no reason for their "no" vote and didn't speak once during the committee hearing.

HB2221, sponsored by Rep. David Marshall, ensures cities can't defund the police.

Reps Gillette, Carter, and Kolodin spoke highly of the legislation and support for our LEOs during their votes.

Every Dem on the committee—including swing district reps Stephanie Simacek, Lorena Austin, Kevin Volk, and others—voted NO.

Volk stood against being proactive on the issue. All the Dems favored municipal control over this decision to that of the state.

Simacek, who recently came to AZ from Portland, even tried derailing the bill by talking about teachers and forgetting what she was originally talking about during her vote.

Meanwhile, crime has skyrocketed in cities that cut police budgets—Portland, Seattle, Minneapolis... As Rep. Marshall noted, Portland was having hiring issues even with a $45,000 sign-on bonus! AZ shouldn't follow their failures.

In the very first bill heard on the floor by Speaker Steve Montenegro, the House GOP passed the Save Our Children School Safety Program, sponsored by Selina Bliss.

This school safety legislation, as clarified by Rep. Bliss, does three things:

1. Enhances safety and well-being of students and school staff through training and equipment for those who suffer myriad injuries
2. Establishes optional crisis management and de-escalation training
3. Allows educators to undergo regulated self-defense classes

Unfortunately, the legislative intent of this bill was skewed for political reasons by legislators who chose to use fallacious appeals to emotion by saying that they are scared of guns. Some legislators parroting these talking points could barely even speak without their pre-written talking points.

Did you know names are ordered on the ballot according to which party won the governor's race last?

This ridiculous ballot order process is unfair + hurts the integrity of our elections.

So Rep. Alex Kolodin introduced a bill to change it. The bill passed the House unanimously!

Watch as over half of the AZ Democratic caucus votes AGAINST Rep. John Gillette's bill requiring campaign and PAC mailers to have a disclaimer stating that each mailer isn't official government business.

In 2024, left-aligned groups sent out mailers that looked like they came from the Pima county government, but weren't.

Why are these politicians okay with deceiving voters?

Do you have any idea how much fraud occurs in signature gathering? This fraud is accentuated by policies which pay collectors per signature.

So Rep. John Gillette introduced a bill to help fix the issue. Under HB2007, it would be illegal to pay per signature and collectors would have to be paid another way, such as hourly.

Our Recorder, Justin Heap, and the official County lobbyist, Jennifer Marson, both strongly support HB2007. All of the AZ House GOP voted YES and all Democrats except Rep. Nancy Gutierrez voted NO.

We hope Rep. Gutierrez can convince some of her friends on the Senate side and 9th floor to say AYE to this bill!

(The only Democrat who spoke against this bill wanted to introduce automatic voter registration.

For the past year, Democrats like Kamala Harris claimed to support eliminating taxes on tips—but when it came time to act, it was Republicans who got it done.

Despite opposition from over half of the Dem caucus, our House GOP passed HB2081, ensuring that service workers keep more of what they earn.

As sponsor Rep. Gail Griffin said, tips are not wages: they are gifts from customers who appreciate good service. This bill protects hardworking Arizonans in restaurants, bars, and hospitality from unfair taxation.

The straw man and false equivalence critique of the bill brought up by swing district Democrat Kevin Volk was rebuked by Rep. Alex Kolodin as he explained how lawyers are required to be transparent with rates in Arizona.

The AZ GOP stands with workers—not just in words, but in action. Another promise kept!

Rep. Marshall introduced HB2221 to prevent radicals from defunding the police throughout AZ.

The bill received nearly universal opposition from the Dem caucus.

Rep. Quanta Crews said something to the effect of "it hasn't happened yet, so why would we need this legislation?" while recognizing activist intent to defund the police and asking Arizonans if we "really need this." Scary.

Even more bizarrely, Dem Leader Oscar De Los Santos ignored the content of the bill to make up lies about the people who are being pardoned by Trump for J6.

Oscar claims Trump is pardoning people who "killed police officers" - yet not one police officer was killed by a protestor on J6.

Oscar says we should show support for our police by not supporting an admin who is pardoning people who committed a crime which never took place. He says this while ignoring the content of the bill presented by Marshall and then encourages his caucus to vote NO.

Oscar is lying to the Arizonan people for politics. It's disgusting beyond belief.

Democrats will stop at nothing to erase women.

House Bill 2062 from Rep. Lisa Fink in Arizona clarifies laws on biological sex, defining terms like "male," "female," "man," and "woman" based on biology, not identity. It passed along party lines—Republicans in favor, Democrats opposed.

The bill:
1. Defines terms in statutes by biological meaning.
2. Ensures state data reflects biological sex.
3. Protects single-sex spaces with clear legal definitions.

Rep. Stephanie Simacek’s unhinged response claimed it would "erase trans people" and "rescind women’s rights" for affirming biology. She called biological definitions “outdated,” ignoring reality. Another representative, Rep. Teresa Martinez, had to intervene to enforce House rules.

HB2062 simply ensures legal clarity, protects women’s spaces, and upholds biological facts—not the absurd accusations Democrats made.

Arizona taxpayers shouldn't subsidize massive out-of-state wind & solar farms while our families pay the price.

HB2918 is our bill to end unfair property tax breaks for new utility-scale renewable energy projects.

Currently, these large projects get valued at only 20% of depreciated cost – a stacked subsidy worth ~$180M/year that gives them an unfair edge over other energy sources and hurts local property tax revenue for schools, roads, and services.

Our reform sets full cash value at 100% depreciated cost for most new projects (post-2027 in-service for utility-tied ones, with grandfathering to protect ratepayers from hikes). It's about fairness: level the playing field, ensure these corporations pay their share, and stop corporate welfare at Arizonans' expense.
