⚠️JUST IN: $42,300 lost due to an address poisoning attack
Looks like victim was holding ETH for a few months and decided to move full amount to an address he normally uses. First transfer of 1 $ETH went through correctly as always.
But the poisoning bot started spamming immediately and the rest, 16.97 $ETH, went to a fake address.
This attack is by far the biggest of all his successful ones.

🇲🇽 JUST IN: Mexican musician and his pregnant wife, young daughter and maid were murdered in Mexico for $BTC
This week Mexican musician Jonathan Meléndez, his pregnant wife, young daughter, and housemaid were tragically murdered in Atizapán.
Authorities quickly arrested the suspects, which notably included an associate who was explicitly aware of Meléndez's Bitcoin holdings.
It highlights the most fatal vulnerability in self-custody: OpSec failure. If the wrong people know what you hold, you become a target.
