As a part of Intermediale Festival the second edition of Videosyntezy exhibition is launched. Call for proposal is now open and waiting for those exploring analog video synthesis technology and hybrid experimental video art works on the border of analog technique.
Videosyntezy 2 will deal with the mutual influences of experimental music and video art. Because analogue video synthesis uses the same source, a voltage-controlled signal, to produce sound and image, it provides a metaphor for the mutual relationship between musical experimentation and video art.

Open call to participate in the 1st FIV - International Videomapping Festival of Curitiba/PR - Brazil.
The theme of the FIV in 2022 is "HUMAN BEING: REAL and VIRTUAL." However, some aspects must be considered in relation to the projection surface and the quest for a message to be communicated. Thus, the FIV is looking for mappings that:
- Respect and consider the geometry of the building and the particularities of the blueprint (the technical specifications can be downloaded through the Festival website);
- Expose unusual, peculiar and experimental technical approaches;
- Try to express an idea creatively, using any artistic techniques available to you;
- Include sound and music as an element within videomapping to create a complete show.

Submissions for the second Cavendish Arts Science Fellowship at Girton College are open to artists working in or across any medium, including visual arts, performance, theatre, film, writing, dance, music and sound, architecture, spatial and social practices, technology and digital and those with experimental practices.
Artists with no previous experience working with scientists or in a scientific environment are particularly encouraged to apply.
Fellowship includes stipend of £10,000 GBP (aprox. 11,700 Euro),
all accommodation and meals w provided by Girton College during the residency in Cambridge and a budget of £10,000 GBP will be made available to support the development of new work.

This alliance was implemented in the framework of the All-Around Culture programme by L’art Rue & MitOst and co-funded by the European Union in Egypt and EUNIC - European Union National Institutes for Culture in Egypt.
Fantomas is an 8-week lab that will take place from October to November 2022 at Medrar for Contemporary art where 5 visual artists will create VR experiences that embody future imaginations of collective realities. In the first 3 weeks of the lab, artist and curator Maha Maamoun will support the participants in the conceptual development of their projects and later on, artist Jean-François Robin will accompany them in the production phase.
