On-the-fly is a Creative Europe project committed to support the development of the European Live Coding practice. It is a partnership between Hangar, ZKM | Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe, Ljudmila and Creative Coding Utrecht.
Project has both a space for performances and a space for research. In the research space you can develop live coding programs or libraries, discuss, explore, identify, reflect on and imagine creative directions in the live coding practice.

The DFG project "Digitally network media libraries for the performing arts" is devoted to central questions and goals of the media library project in four thematic blocks, which aims to digitally merge metadata and make it freely accessible across institutions. Bordos László Zsolt : How did we arrive to project on buildings?
LÁSZLÓ ZSOLT BORDOS: LIGHTFORMS [2018]
Lightforms of László Zsolt Bordos are studies of the behavior of primary geometric shapes within a lumino-kinetic environment. The moving light source creates a continuous variable of the visual experience. Due to the movement of light and shadows, the geometric shapes are always brought into new light situations. By showing the ever-changing aspects and patterns of the same forms, the artwork offers the possibility of a continuous sampling. The light source moves clockwise and revolves in exactly 1 minute. The triad of the three shapes inevitably evokes the association of a sundial, reminiscent of the motion of the planets.
Bordos ’work invites visitors to a meditative experience of three-dimensional Space and Time.

This international award is endowed by the BBBank, founded and with its headquarters in Karlsruhe, to celebrate the bank’s centenary. LIF 2022 is looking for proposals in the following categories: AV Performances, Music, VJ, Interactive Installations, Video Art, Animation, Silent Film with live soundscapes, Virtual Reality, 3D Mapping projection, Workshops. Special emphasis will be given to artistic proposals with live art interventions and works that propose the experience of participation.
