Call for Artist Proposals: Art + Technology Lab 2021
LACMA's Art + Technology Lab program is accepting proposals for artist projects that engage new forms of technology. Awards take the form of grants of up to $50,000 and as well as in-kind support from the museum and private partners in technology and science.
Awards will be announced in April 2021 and grants are given for a period of one year. During that time, recipients are encouraged to pursue new directions in their work that explore ideas in technology and culture.

Sound artists and composers from the field of electronic music and sound art can apply for the annual GIGA-HERTZ AWARD organised by the ZKM | Hertz-Lab (formerly Institute for Music and Acoustics) and the SWR Experimentalstudio.
The Giga-Hertz Award 2021 is endowed with a total of 20,000 € in prize money. The Giga-Hertz main award for the lifetime achievement, which is 10,000 €, will be determined by suggestion from the jury and is not selected from the applications. The two internationally oriented Giga-Hertz Production Awards, each endowed with 5,000 €, serve to initiate and promote new projects and are aimed at sound artists and composers of electronic and electroacoustic music as well as mixed music.

@collettivozeugma launches "Landscape2021" a Call for Sound Artist and Video Artist, invites its participants to express themselves through audiovisual works that focus on the use of sound to tell the interaction between man and territory.

The final objective of the call is to create an Anthology of the Landscape that brings together the best works selected with the aim of being able to promote them within the channels of Zeugma but also within reviews / festivals / exhibitions (both physical and virtual) organized by the project partners.
The best 20 works will be selected based on the following criteria:
- Adherence of the work to the proposed theme
- High technical and narrative quality
- Sound-Image Interplay
- Use as innovative as possible of the audiovisual medium

Medienwerk.nrw launches its call for projects to all institutions and initiatives, alliances and collectives, places and spaces of media art & digital culture, whose cooperative projects deal artistically and culturally with contemporary technological/media change and its effects on society.

Open Call: IMMENSATHON: INTO THE HUMAN LABYRINTH
The call is open to participate in the Immensiva HackLab, in collaboration with Garage Stories and Be Another Lab, HackLab aimed to explore and work with emerging media to create experimental pieces that help us reflect on the complexity of human relationships and speculate on a future where technology helps us to be more human.
From 3th to 16th May, we will bring together 25 creative profiles to co-create in groups of 5 an experimental piece with technologies and other more analogical art forms (photo, video, music, live performance, etc) to form part of a collective exhibition “Into the Human Labyrinth” which will be open to the public in the days following the HackLab.
