The DFG project "Digitally network media libraries for the performing arts" is devoted to central questions and goals of the media library project in four thematic blocks, which aims to digitally merge metadata and make it freely accessible across institutions. As part of the event, experts address current legal issues in dealing with AV media in the performing arts, provide insight into working with AV resources and authority data in libraries and deal in depth with the preservation and networking of AV collections and Media archives in an artistic and university context.

Bordos László Zsolt : How did we arrive to project on buildings?
LÁSZLÓ ZSOLT BORDOS: LIGHTFORMS [2018]
Lightforms of László Zsolt Bordos are studies of the behavior of primary geometric shapes within a lumino-kinetic environment. The moving light source creates a continuous variable of the visual experience. Due to the movement of light and shadows, the geometric shapes are always brought into new light situations. By showing the ever-changing aspects and patterns of the same forms, the artwork offers the possibility of a continuous sampling. The light source moves clockwise and revolves in exactly 1 minute. The triad of the three shapes inevitably evokes the association of a sundial, reminiscent of the motion of the planets.
Bordos ’work invites visitors to a meditative experience of three-dimensional Space and Time.

This international award is endowed by the BBBank, founded and with its headquarters in Karlsruhe, to celebrate the bank’s centenary. #1mSottoLaMetro is back! The widespread exhibition of metropolitan interactive art curated by Arianna Forte and organized by Fusolab 2.0 in collaboration with Flyer and Atac Roma.
Seven interactive and new media art works exhibited in five stations of the Metro C in Rome for three days, from 10th to 12th of December 2021, from 15:00 to 21:00.

VIDEO MAPPING AWARDS 2022
As part of Video Mapping Festival #5, the association Rencontres Audiovisuelles offers a video mapping competition to reward the best productions of 2020-2021.
The video mapping selected during a pre-selection will be presented to the public in the form of video recordings on Saturday 12th of March 2022 in Lille. France.

OPEN CALL ALDEA RESIDENCY
Aldea - Center for Contemporary art, Design and Technology is offering the opportunity to undertake a one-month residency from March 4th to April 17th for three artists and to exhibit in the Aldea gallery.
The selected artists will be provided with:
A single room inside the apartment
Living Expenses 10000 NOK (aprox 970 euros)
Travel expenses maximum 5000 NOK (aprox 490 euros)
Shipping expenses maximum 2000 NOK (aprox 195 euros)
Production Fee 12000 NOK (aprox 1,175 euros)
Free access to the Aldea Workshops
The Curatron software system is used as our method to select the artists for residency. Curatron is an online software tool developed to involve artists directly in the curatorial selection process.
Deadline: 22.12.2021
Note: The residency is not open for Norwegian residents.
