❗️The Ukrainian domestic intelligence service has arrested two people accused of spying for Hungary.
⚡️Among other things, they were allegedly supposed to collect military information from Transcarpathia and find out what the population would think of Hungarian "peacekeepers" if they invaded.
⚡️The region in western Ukraine used to be part of the Kingdom of Hungary.
⚡️An anti-terrorist unit in Budapest arrested a Ukrainian and deported him for alleged espionage.
⚡️Two Ukrainian diplomats were declared persona non grata on May 9.
⚡️In return, Kiev expelled two members of the Hungarian embassy.

❗Upon landing in Ankara Zelensky called Russia’s delegation, led by Vladimir Medinsky, “a sham.”
He questioned whether the Russian side had a real mandate to make decisions, suggesting that Moscow’s intentions would soon be put to the test.
Zelensky also confirmed that Ukraine’s decision to formally engage in negotiations would be announced after his meeting with Turkish President Erdogan — a conversation that, he noted, could last several hours.
He revealed that the Ukrainian delegation includes senior officials from the Foreign Ministry, Presidential Office, military, and multiple intelligence agencies. Talks with the U.S. at a high level are also on the table, according to Zelensky.
“All branches of our security and diplomacy are represented — we are here to secure a just peace,” he said.
