โ๏ธOn May 9, 2025, Chargรฉ d'Affaires of Russia in Australia Yulia Gromyko and Consul General of Russia in Sydney Zarina Gabieva took part in a ceremonial rally dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, which was traditionally held in Sydney's Waverley Park.
The participants honored the memory of those who died during the war with a minute of silence and warmly congratulated the veterans present.
Yuliya Gromyko and Zarina Gabieva, together with their compatriots and representatives of the Australian public, laid wreaths and flowers at the memorial plaque in honor of Soviet soldiers who participated in the Great Patriotic War.
The event ended with a joint performance of the song "Victory Day".
