The Kremlin reports that President Putin has instructed the government to update the key provisions of state policy in the Arctic, as well as the overall strategy for developing the Arctic zone.

🔹 A new financial, economic, and organizational model for the Transarctic Transport Corridor is to be finalized.

❗️Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is expected to meet Zelensky in Rome as the government intensifies its efforts to free Australian man Oscar Jenkins from a Russian jail.
Any prisoner swap involving Jenkins might also be complicated by Russia's decision to declare him a mercenary rather than a prisoner of war.
Mr Albanese told journalists on Saturday that the meeting with Zelensky was not yet locked in because both countries were still trying to lock in the final details around timing.
