🚨 MAN FACING CHILD-RELATED CHARGES ARRESTED AGAIN HOURS AFTER RELEASE

Gold Coast man Alex Peter Anderson, 23, has been on bail since November 2024 while facing serious charges involving a child under 12. His bail conditions have included staying at least 10 metres away from children.

Nov 2024: First charged over alleged offences involving a child under 12 → granted bail

Oct 2025: Pleads guilty to six breaches, including attending Dreamworld, Sea World, the Gold Coast Show and a BMX club → $600 fine, remains on bail

Feb 2026: Charged with five more alleged breaches → released again
April: Another five alleged breaches → released again with tougher conditions

July: Another three alleged breaches involving prohibited phone and internet use → released again

Aug 5: Breaches conditions at a go-kart venue and breaks curfew → $600 fine and released

Aug 9: Attends the Ekka despite restrictions around children → arrested, fined $300 and released

Hours later: Allegedly attends the family-packed Pacific Airshow → arrested again

Anderson is currently awaiting trial on three counts of indecent dealing and one grooming charge involving a child under 12. The Queensland Police Union has called the situation “beyond a joke.”

🚨 UPDATE: HORRIFIC NEW DETAILS EMERGE IN BRISBANE TEEN MURDER CASE

New court details allege Oliver Conroy, 27, was lured to Kelvin Grove by two teenage girls who told him they were 18, as part of an alleged plan by a group of teens to rob him.

Police allege Conroy was then ambushed and severely beaten, with the group repeatedly punching, kicking and striking him while one of the accused filmed the attack on a phone.

The teens allegedly stole his BYD and drove off as Conroy desperately clung to the vehicle trying to stop them. Police say the driver repeatedly accelerated and braked, dragging him for almost a kilometre before he fell onto the road and was run over.

Conroy was taken to hospital with critical injuries, where he remained for 13 days before dying on August 6. Seven teenagers aged 14 to 17, reported to be from African migrant backgrounds, remain in custody charged with murder.

An African Muslim man was filmed repeatedly driving around an Adelaide church yesterday while holding a Koran out the window.

Locals also claimed he was blasting the Islamic call to prayer from the vehicle.

👀 KNIFE-WIELDING MAN DIES AFTER ARREST AT MELBOURNE STATION

A 37-year-old man has died after being taken into custody at Clayton railway station in Melbourne’s south-east. Police say he was armed with a knife, entered the tracks and later moved towards officers while they attempted to negotiate with him.

The man became unresponsive shortly after his arrest and could not be revived. Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the death, with Professional Standards overseeing the case as is standard for deaths in police custody.

🚨 ARMED ABORIGINAL MOB ATTACKS POLICE IN NT COMMUNITY

Police were confronted by a large group of armed Aboriginal males approaching the remote Indigenous community of Wadeye, with officers allegedly pelted with rocks, metal bars and other projectiles as the group continued to advance.

Police say one person even fired an arrow from a compound bow into a police vehicle, forcing officers to deploy pepper spray to disperse the group. It marks the fifth outbreak of unrest in Wadeye in less than two weeks.

🚨 MAN ESCAPES POLICE GUARD AT WESTERN SYDNEY HOSPITAL

Police are hunting Abdalla Narouz Khila, 35, after he allegedly escaped lawful custody while under police guard at a hospital on Blacktown Road in western Sydney on Monday morning.

Police describe Khila as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, while the reason he was originally in custody has not been publicly revealed.

🚨 ONE NATION WANTS TO SLASH TOBACCO TAX BY 75%

Pauline Hanson has unveiled a plan to cut Australia’s tobacco excise by 75% and freeze further increases for three years, bringing the price of a legal $46.50 pack of cigarettes down to roughly $21–$22.

Hanson argues Australia’s extreme tobacco taxes have handed the market to organised crime, with illicit cigarettes now selling for as little as $12–$25. ABS estimates show illicit sources supplied 80% of nicotine consumed in Australia in 2025, despite years of tax increases intended to reduce smoking.

The plan would be paired with tougher border enforcement, faster shutdowns of illegal tobacco stores and stronger asset seizures targeting criminal networks.

🚨 18-YEAR-OLD CHARGED OVER GUN AND MACHETE CHAOS AT MELBOURNE SHOPPING CENTRE

An 18-year-old man has been charged after two groups of youths allegedly clashed at Craigieburn Central in Melbourne’s north, with machetes wielded and at least one shot fired as terrified families fled or hid inside stores.

The groups involved have been reported as African migrant youths. Police arrested the 18-year-old days later and allegedly found him carrying a pen pistol, ammunition, machete and extendable baton.

Other alleged offenders remain outstanding.

🚨 PUSH TO BLAST ISLAMIC CALL TO PRAYER OVER SYDNEY SUBURB HITS ROADBLOCK

Lakemba Mosque’s plan to broadcast the Islamic call to prayer over loudspeakers in Sydney’s south-west is facing likely rejection, with Canterbury-Bankstown Council raising concerns over noise and the impact on surrounding residents.

The mosque wants four loudspeakers installed on its minaret to broadcast the Adhan every Friday, but more than 1,600 objections have been lodged against the proposal.
