Police used pepper spray to control crowds outside Alice Springs Hospital where he was being treated. He was later airlifted to Darwin under guard for his safety.

⚠️ JUST IN: Man Snatched at Gunpoint in $10 Million Ransom Kidnapping

43-year-old Albert Harmouche was grabbed at gunpoint outside a house in Bass Hill, south-west Sydney, on Tuesday night. The men demanded up to $10 million and sent videos of him with a gun to his head to family and friends.

He was released this morning after a substantial ransom was paid and is now recovering in hospital. Police are still investigating the motive but he has known links to the Hamze crime family. No arrests yet.
