TBH, now I feel a lot more angry at that render being stolen situation and I haven’t told you the whole thing, so get prepared
At first I thought that person had really taken inspo or used it as a ref, that’s why I told everyone that we’re cool and stuff but after checking her acc I noticed that all of ‘her’ art was AI generated and posed as her own, which is really noticeable even to the untrained eye. After I saw the non-blurred version of that Snape art I instantly knew that it was just my render ran through the Ai and traced over to fix some Ai issues like hands, textures and eyes. I wasn’t against her posting an inspired or referenced piece but I was against her posting basically just a stolen work
I told her that her stuff looked ai and she INSTANTLY became defensive and in the same second turns out she got bullied because of me on “all of her social media even her private insta” (in her words) which isn’t possible ‘cause as the least of it you can’t DM a private insta which was no-where linked
She had no proof of anything I asked her to prove. I asked her a genuine question, referencing an obvious trace-over, after which she banned me, posted the Snape piece and then unbanned to send me her real art. I was always stating during our chat that she can draw and I’ve never doubted her artistic skills. I just don’t understand why she has to use ai and steal other’s stuff to pose as her own, if she could’ve used her own skills or get into the separate ai-centric community without hiding any facts
