Announcing the 2nd annual OSC-GCUB Scholarship Programme
Dear Dr. Molla Tsegay, President of Admas University
Greetings from the OSC and I hope this message finds you and your esteemed colleagues at Admas University very well.
I have the honour to inform you of the second annual OSC-GCUB Scholarship Programme, offered jointly by the OSC and the International Cooperation Group of Brazilian Universities (GCUB).
As you may recall, the OSC-GCUB Scholarship Programme strengthens international cooperation and advances South-South academic exchange. In line with our shared objectives, the programme promotes inclusive and quality education, while fostering mutual understanding and collaboration among institutions of higher learning in the Greater South. In that light, I kindly bring to your attention the following:
The OSC will support up to 400 eligible applicants from OSC Founding and Member States who meet the requirements of the GCUB-Mob 2025 programme, to pursue studies at Master’s and Doctorate levels at Brazilian universities affiliated with GCUB.
Scholarship recipients will be exempted from paying enrollment, tuition, or academic fees at the host universities in Brazil. The universities will provide monthly scholarships (stipends) and access to classes, libraries, laboratories, and other academic services.
In addition, subject to the availability of funds, the OSC will provide each scholarship recipient with a one-time allowance to reimburse costs associated with airfare, visa processing, international medical insurance, and other expenses not covered by the host institutions.
For more information on the OSC-GCUB Scholarship Programme, please visit the official OSC webpage at: https://osc.int/scholarships/
