Every September, I raise funds to support children who struggle to afford basic educational needs. This year, we’re taking it further by supporting Zewditu Orphanage Center, which I had the chance to visit a few months ago.

They’re well cared for, but holidays are still difficult. especially when it comes to making the kids feel happy and celebrated.

So, throughout Pagume, let’s give what we can. 80 birr can feed one child for a day. But even 10 birr matters.

Let’s put a smile on a child’s face this New Year. Let humanity be our New Year’s gift.

So I saw this post today on Yostina’s page and me and hasu decided to donate 160 birr from what we can. It might be a small amount, but it got me thinking.

Imagine Jemaw, if at least 70% of us here let’s say around 700 people of the subs here decided to donate 80 birr each, enough to feed one child for a day for new year.

That would mean 700+ children fed for a day, just from our little community here.

Maybe 80 birr doesn’t feel like much to us, but I’m sure it means a lot to a child who needs it, Jemaw. ❤️

So if you can, contribute whatever you can. Even if you can’t donate, sharing this can help too.
