Q: I want to go into motorsport, build a strong base for high achievements on racing track, and maybe go into racing, what I should start with?
A: Rental karting will be a perfect tool for starting building up strong basement for you driving skills and piloting techniques. Also, its teaches how to "read" racing track, how to build your racing line and to understand limits of grip depending on the ideal line of specific track.
Q: How much track time I needed to go with rental karting for strong basement and move ahead to trackdays with my car?
A: It all depends on your personal progress, but usually it takes from 30-40 sessions (10-15 training days) with go karts, until we can say you have enough track experience to be confident in yourself. But we can start you trackdays already after few training days with rental karting.
Q: What kind of karting tracks and go karts available for coaching in central Portugal area?
A: We have here two beautiful open air tracks - KIP and KIRO, there are two options of go karts with Honda GX engines - 270cc and 390cc which provides variety of training options.
Also, KIRO provides Birel chassis rental karts with Rotax engine, which will be great level up for you, after 20-30 coach sessions with gx engine go kart.
Important notice: KIP working all week round, except Mondays. At Tuesday it opens at 14:00, all other days working hours 09:00 - 19:00.
Also, you should keep in mind that there can be booked hours for private races, and before planning coaching sessions, its needed to be obtained about track availability.

A: First of all that we shall need to know, is that motorsport is very, very expensive and you should know it since the start of your way. We can optimize and decrease your expenses as much as we can, but anyway it will be sufficient amount of funds.
A: For example, one regular karting individual training day at KIP, with 3 joint sessions (6 sessions in total) will cost for you €120 (for 270cc kart) or €168 (390cc kart) for sessions itself, and €155 for coaching, or €125 if we practice regularly, what gives you overall amount from €245 to €323
Q: Ok, what about trackdays?
A: If we talking about trackdays on your own car, there is expenses on trackday itself, amount of expenses for preparing your car (fuel, oils, brakepads etc) and coaching service, which can exceed in total amount €600 - €800 per trackday
