After a long hiatus, Atergatis is making its return!

I'm hard at work on the next version, and while it's not quite ready yet, I wanted to bring you along for the journey. Stay tuned for exclusive updates, sneak peeks, and a first look at what’s coming next.

In contrast to the previous version, where the maximum building upgrade level was 20, and resource levels were capped at 25 in the capital and 10 in non-capital cities, the new version offers something exciting! Now, there's the potential for unlimited building levels. However, there's a twist—the maximum level of your buildings will be tied to the level of your main building. This means that the highest level your buildings can reach will match the current level of your main building.

🌟 Exciting Changes Coming to Atergatis' In-Game Economy! 🌟

I’m thrilled to share some significant updates to the in-game economy in the upcoming version of Atergatis! These changes are designed to streamline gameplay, enhance trading dynamics, and provide more flexibility for all players. Here’s what you can expect:

Simplified Currency System:
I’m removing Silver, the secondary currency. With this change, you won’t need to worry about gold/silver exchanges anymore, making your in-game wealth easier to manage!
Gold will now be the sole currency and more versatile than ever. You’ll be able to use fractions of Gold in trades, allowing for even more precise transactions.

Unified Marketplace Experience:
I’m merging the Auction House and Marketplace into a single, streamlined hub! Now, any tradable item, resource, or asset can be exchanged for Gold in one convenient location.

Enhanced Trading Mechanics:
All player-to-player trades will now function like an auction, and here’s the exciting part: every tradable asset will be priced, bought, and sold exclusively in Gold. As a seller, you can set your own starting price (as high or low as you like) and choose the duration of your auction (within limits set by the Game World). When the auction ends, the highest bidder wins! If no bids are placed, your asset will be safely returned to you.

Fairer NPC Resource Balancing:
Trading resources with NPC merchants will no longer cost Gold. Instead, a small percentage of the traded resource will be given to the NPC as a fee, ensuring a fairer and more resource-driven economy.

Gold Usage Overhaul:
Gold will no longer be required for actions like instant building completions or activating features like PLUS and Gold Club. Instead, these actions will now cost resources, with amounts based on specific requirements. For instant building, the resource cost will depend on the current level and type of the building. For PLUS and Gold Club features, the costs will be structured differently, reflecting their unique benefits.

I believe these changes will create a more dynamic and engaging economy within Atergatis, and I’m excited to see how they impact your strategies!
