Ieri è stata la mia prima volta al Ferrara Nerd, ed è stato qualcosa di semplicemente memorabile.
Non tanto per la fiera in sé (che comunque meritava assolutamente), ma per la straordinaria compagnia che ho avuto per tutto il tempo, e che mi ha fatto vivere una delle giornate più felici della mia vita; a conferma del fatto che non servono per forza grandi eventi organizzati per divertirsi, basta avere un pretesto qualsiasi e soprattutto la compagnia giusta!
Per questo ringrazio tantissimo i miei amici @rowanbitezz, @Joyful_dogg e @silly_felix che hanno reso questa giornata veramente indimenticabile. Vi voglio un mondo di bene, a tutti❤
E grazie mille anche a tutte le persone che si sono fermate a farmi un saluto o per una foto! Mi ha fatto un immenso piacere🥰

Vorrei approfittare di questa giornata per dire due parole su un argomento che mi sta molto a cuore.
Per quanto possa sembrare paradossale, persino in community come quelle furry e queer si annida il germe della transfobia. Spesso è subdolo e strisciante, ed esce allo scoperto solo nei casi in cui queste persone sono coperte dall'anonimato, ma c'è, ed è qualcosa che ho visto coi miei stessi occhi.
Oltre ad ovviamente condannare senza se e senza ma comportamenti così stupidi e vigliacchi, vorrei provare a fare un passo in più. A dire a queste persone di fare uno sforzo, di mettersi in discussione e di provare a superare quell'istinto che ci spinge a denigrare qualunque cosa sia "diversa" e che non riusciamo a comprendere. E soprattutto, di provare a mettere da parte i preconcetti e cercare di conoscere meglio le persone transgender. Perché la conoscenza è l'arma migliore che esista per combattere il pregiudizio, e questo è valido per tutti, in qualunque contesto.

As well as, of course, condemning such stupid and cowardly behaviour without reservation, I would like to try to go one step further. To tell these people to make an effort, to question themselves and to try to overcome that instinct that drives us to denigrate anything that is ‘different’ and that we cannot understand. And above all, to try to set aside preconceptions and get to know transgender people better. Because knowledge is the best weapon there is to fight prejudice, and this applies to everyone, in any context.
