Sunday Kitten fix:
This passage reminds me of those who complain and dismiss "hopium." But there are countless passages in the Bible that specifically instruct us to have hope. When I read this today, I thought -- of course, this makes perfect sense. Would you plant a garden assuming it would die and nothing would grow? Would you plant a garden without intention to eat or enjoy anything from that garden? Of course not, that would be nuts ;-) The mere act of taking action implies hope is present. And when we take action in the spirit of hope, then we can expect to partake in the fruits of our actions. So to me, this passage says HAVE HOPE and ACT WITH HOPE and expect to reap all the benefits of your actions. <3 BTW this is 1 Corinthians 9:7-11
Just a reminder - have a listen to day 28 bc I mention how you can join us (no set fee - love offering only) for SYSTEMATIC FORGIVENESS 😉 ❤️
